      If you're suggesting that NASA is faking everytihing with CGI, then I'd say EVERYONE should learn from them. Because if everything that NASA releases is CGI, then they have the absolute best VFX artists that can pump out hours of CGI every now and then. Not to mention the render times it would take to render everything NASA supposedly does in your eyes. You people show just how little you know about that matter.

    The zero-g scenes in Apollo 13 were miles ahead, since they actually show real weightlessness. They actually built the set inside NASA's plane "The vomit comet", which then repeatedly went into a dive providing 25-30 seconds of true weightlessness on each dive. They should have went with that approach in "Gravity" too. I have yet to see a convincing "fake" weightless scene.

      +Anthony Studios One thing you're never going to get is a movie actually filmed in space. Therefore, you will deal with a downpour of CGI when it comes to space-related films.

      Jay Alford except intertsellar. which was mostly models and sets...

    • @morrisonben
      @morrisonben 8 лет назад +2

      Agreed. This movie seemed like a scene from Interstellar. The only reason this got all the praise was because it had reasonable CGI that looked 'better'. The only reason for this is because Christopher Nolan (Director of Interstellar) decided not to use much CGI, in fact 70% of the scenes that look like CGI aren't.
