omg!! I just got mine and i watched this video which is very helpuful. Specially when you talked about the customer's feedback -- the dirty windows clean first with dry pads and then chnage the pads for wet ones. Love it this video. It's detailed. Thanks for taking the time to make this awesome tutorial for us. Speacially for me hahah I live in a very tall budiling and I was freaking out ...how am i going to use the Hobot outdoor windows? 😂 so glad I found this video. Thanks again.
It appears that the Hobot-388 only sprays in one direction. Does the Hobot rotate, when going to the left, so as to spray ahead of the Hobot instead of behind it? Just wondering…
My 298 came with a printed note to use distilled water only or Hobot detergent. Does the water really have to be distillt or just tap water (we have a very soft one) would be ok? Thanks.
I’m definitely buying one of those 2... but I’m really dubious about which one, can you elaborate a little more? Since pricing is almost the same I’d like to know which one will be better for cleaning my apartment windows
@@leebentley3943 388 is better for dust heavy windows.. but im pretty sure both require lots of babysitting and u cant really put them to work and forget about them, I regret getting mine, easier to just clean the windows with a towel for 10 seconds by hand.
Home Robot USA it did not spray out of the box, it works after using the spare. Thanks! I have an other issue though, the on off switch is broken after first few usage - just got the device today. The device wont turn off as the button is trying to go to On position by itself, and it also turned on by itself in the middle of the night.

It is quite loud and can take a while if you have a lot of windows or mirrors to clean but is efficient and effective, very useful

Water can clog the nozzle. That is why the manufacturer recommends using distilled water. One replacement nozzle is included in the box.
Which hobot is better in your opinion the 388 or 298?
They are different.
298 is faster and suitable for large windows due to caterpillars.
388 washes more thoroughly due to circular motions.

Any liquid other than HOBOT and pure water can clog the ultrasonic. A spare ultrasonic is included with the robot.

Does the round robot reach the edges and corners sufficiently?
The round robot leaves small not washed corners.

Yes. Minimum surface size - 13х13 inch for this model.

It can, but it is designed for windows. The power cord will interfere with cleaning.
