- Taifa Mziki was formed in February 2010 with membership of university students who were once, and still are, competitors in the Kenya Music Festivals. The group performs at university events and recently performed at the Classical Evenings' Club. The choir is directed by Sylvester Makobi and is based in Nairobi.
