TAIFA MZIKI performing a 'Kikuyu Folk Song' on THE KWAYA

  • Taifa Mziki was formed in February 2010 with membership of university students who were once, and still are, competitors in the Kenya Music Festivals. The group performs at university events and recently performed at the Classical Evenings' Club. The choir is directed by Sylvester Makobi and is based in Nairobi.

    Love this young men dancing the Kikuyu folk dance. Next time pls wear the traditional brown/rusty color of Kikuyu outfit because kanga/lesos are feminizing the young men..

    the h. skool version was far much better, they should borrow a leaf from music festivals

    They did not even come close to the original dance.

    Try the brown. Lesos were for women
