I have to say it’s INCREDIBLE that a “premium brand” sells these super expensive boxes that doesn’t even fit with the super expensive racks, but you actually have to destroy them a bit to make them fit. Also, it’s ridiculous that the quality of the hinges quality is so low. Finally, the provided instructions are a joke. Just black and white copied copies, apparently copied over and over again so it’s impossible to see what the photos show. I’m happy I found your video!
Put the screws in before installation in order to get them and yourself familiar with the pairing and the feel of proper alignment. Before installation you have better view, access and purchase for proper alignment.
The two-red-one-gold stripes for the topcase are already available separately, I successfully installed them myself without soapy things last month. I still can't believe I did it. :) 2H004063000A1 is the part no.
September 2021 and the 2021 vespa supersport rear mounting holes do not line up with the mounting rack. don't know if there is any way to mount it without drilling new rear holes and somehow getting nuts on. Seems very difficult to get access to that part of the bike
In your opinion does one mounting bracket have any advantages over the other in terms of vibration or noise? I’ve had both and I could swear the box mounted to the drop down rack was quieter. Just wondering if you felt that way.
I was wondering which rack did you have at first the flat or the fold down. What made you get the second rack? I'm looking into purchasing a top case. But undecided on which rack.
@@liven4happynus115 I had the fold down first because that’s what my 2007 GTS came with. When I bought my 2015 GTS Super it didn’t have a rack so doesn’t make sense to buy the food down as the flat looks better because it’s made specifically for top case.

That one screams a small decal / stripe kit.

Yes, most full face helmets will fit in here no problem.
That has to be literally the most dodgy manufacturer supplied install that I've ever seen... 'Self tapping screws'... yeah, no thanks.
