This video should be more popular: it solved my bumber error. Instead of giving attention to so-called "influencers", videos such as this one should be much more respected and pushed because this makes a REAL value to the world: reduce e-waste by reparing.

Thank you so much for the video. Would u happen to know how to fix it when the robot keeps going against the wall all the time?

Thanks man! I was about to throw my deebot away. I used a regular resistor (330 ohms .25 watts) and it worked just fine.

You are welcome. Good to know that it also works with regular resistors. Did you encounter any challenges when soldering the "large" connectors of a regular resistor onto the board?

oh man! Thank you for your video and information! I was loosing a lot of time to find what was the root cause. Maybe you can add some words to the description so , maybe, googling can link easier to your video. I was looking for "deebot 950" + "no straight line" , "near wall", "no straight trajectory", "rototraslation" , "bumper sensor not working". Do you know or think if this issue could be also the casue of going backwards when plugging the water tank?

      Hallo,
thank you for your feedback. I'll be adding some of the suggested tags.
Unfortunately, I can't confirm if the issue you mentioned is connected to the malfunction.
Maybe you can report if the behavior has changed after the repair?

@@LukasWorkshop-rv3fc I tried first attempt with official support for the SMD, but they are trained to give pre-defined answers and pre-defined options (ship it, check it, estimate the reparation without any reducition and ship it back). About behavior with water tank I whink it's a problem of mat sensor. I tried to clean it before discovering your video. Now the robots sees mat everywhere, so the backward direction could be for this reason. Wehn I will make all the reparation I will let you know. Thank yuo again!

    Thanks for the Video.
At my Deebot both resistors were defect. Looks like a design flaw.
Material cost was a total of 1,94€ as I had to buy 100 pcs. So I have spare for the next century.
How did you find out what parts are broken?
    Thanks again Mac.

Hi, glad I could help you with this video.
I got help from a german forum called roboter-forum.com. Looks like a lot of people have this problem, so I also think it is a design flaw.
      Best Regards Lukas

    Hey
Habe.
