Sorry that happened to you and your vehicle. Sorry that the person didn't leave a note. A similar thing happened to my boy's hemi orange challenger over Thanksgiving. HUGE dent in the driver door. (A young lady backed into it.) He didn't have collision coverage so he resolved he would have to pay for it. AMAZINGLY, about a week later, a note was left on his car from the gal who hit him explaining why she didn't leave a note previously (because it was raining) and she was headed out of town for the holidays. She left her contact info so he could get her insurance info. So, there are some honest people out there. In your situation, it seems while the bad news is the culprit didn't own up to the misdeed, the good news is that the damage is to a door which is SUPER easy to swap out. If your car is a common color, hopefully you can find a near perfect door with original paint you can swap in for your damaged door. This will NEVER show up on a carfax (unless an insurance claim or police report is filed) and your car should look as good as new. I lucked out and found two perfect doors to replaced the driver side doors on my Turbo Cayenne. You would never know they weren't original to the car. I had to swap across the interior door panels but the problem is fixed and the car looks great. Hopefully you can do the same. Good luck!

Don’t let this ruin the RS3 for you, I think there’s a bunch of content that you can put out for this car. 0-60 vids, suspension/handling mods, cosmetics, track days , etc.

Just seeing this tonight. My heart breaks for you man. People today are just TERRIBLE. They only care about themselves. I’m paronoid with my A3 going places. I don’t think I’d even be able to drive or park an RS 3 in any uncontrolled environment. It will definitely get fixed, but I understand the “tainted” feeling that you now have. But you have said it’s your dream car so don’t give up on it just yet.

Hey man, it might not be over. I drive an Audi a3 and I had recently got into a crash. The same door as you got destroyed, but thankfully I was able to salvage a door of an RS3 of the same year as mine and it was only $600 to get a replacement door. I just stripped the speakers and mirror off of my old door and put it on the new one, repainted it and it looks brand new. So dont get your hopes down.
Yeah at least there are solutions for this.. not happy about it at all. I will see what I hear later this week. We'll be posting a follow up video for sure. Thank you for watching I do appreciate your support!
Two years ago on Christmas we were at a party at a hotel and when we came out I noticed my 2018 s3 was hit on my driver side door. I parked in the very back next to no one. I was in a nice city 30 miles away from my house. The body repair shop pointed out to me it wasn’t hit by a car, but someone kicked it with their boot in the same spot. $2300 in repairs and I sold it a month later. Maybe they were having a poor Xmas. Long story to say I know exactly how you feel man. Hope it gets resolved

This totally sucks bro, I’m sorry this happened to you😢 Like @davidbenji1 said, there’s a good chance you can find a replacement door and have the puppy swapped on. I’ll keep an eye out for any wrecked Daytona RS3s!

I know man horrible situation..
Same thing happened to my RS3 a last Thursday. I was hit and run on the freeway. Car is currently at the repair shop. A suv hit my passenger side and it affected every damn panel lol. Front fender, side passenger doors, and rear fender and my carbon fiber side mirror is gone

@@savagepandaprojects it should be repaired by the first week of may. I had just got the Unitronic flex fuel tune but wasn’t able to install it before the crash.
