Alot of this applies to also bartending soda gun equipment as well so really taught me how to fix this equipment. Or be prepared to fix such equipment or gain the experience/ hands on to fix such equipment. One or the other now its not so difficult to understand whats going wrong is it spitting syrup because its out of co2 , or is it spitting flat soda / selizier water because its out of soda syrup....etc and time for the bag and the box to be switch out. Or did the pump go or chiller/cooling unit go and your getting warm liquid.... all the things you got to think about while troubleshooting.
whats soda syrup? on a fountain or bargun system you have 2 systems, the soda system with the carbonator and the syrup system with the syrup and the pumps these two systems will than mix at the nozzle. co2 is common to both.. break it down make it easy
very interting! the BIB pump looks really easy to change out in the event of Failure. is there a different type of pump used for a certain resturaunt chain that still use Figals?
really nice explanation on servicing these pieces of equipment though you probably should have got a little more into showing some of the components , co2 tank/refills . You more focused on the bag in box and pump/motor side of the equipment.
you detach the syrup inlet line first, the co2 goes through and acts as vacuum on the syrup. If you detach the syrup and co2 inlet you won't have syrup spraying everywhere. I honestly think an electric syrup pump is better because you don't waste co2, which means you refill the co2 tank less often cutting back soda cost. which means increased profit.
Disconnect co2 and flavor. Then put pump inside a trash bag or bucket and take out line off so it spray in the bag or bucket. Pinch off could damage hose.
