Not enough bands in my scene use TikTok. It’s the best way to grow as an artist, and has been for a few years. I get so frustrated with it sometimes! I’ve got tens of thousands of views on TikTok in 2024 alone, what I’m doing is breaking down how I wrote my songs in usually under 30 seconds, and I play my tune at the end.
TikTok is an excellent discovery platform. I’d encourage every band to be on there tbh. Not a great platform for nurturing followers into fans though… for me that’s where an email list is king!
