I miss the fear(and excitement) when hearing “ultra one, there is a platoon in your vicinity!” Over my comms vest knowing, as a solo, I had to get the hell out of that area. 4 man is still a vibe, but 6 was scary!😁
I remember all those days it was pretty funny and excitement I was a solo my vest went off so I hide in the building in down town Al mazrah just then two LTVs with the gun Torrents were driven by slow i can hear the players talking a 6 man team they saw me but thought I ran off in a different Direction they was saying lucky they kept going 😅
For all of us spawn in with nothing and get rushed by multiple people geared up, I salute you. ❤ The cream on the cake was "we're all dead, by one guy??" 😂😂😂
I didn't realize how much I missed the 6 man platoons until last night . One team mate got knocked early while the other one and I successfully fought off two 3 man squads and a platoon back to back to back, only to die at the final exfil. 😅 Regardless it was the most fun I've had in the dmz in a long time and I wish they bring back the 6 man.

A change of pace is good sometimes and it worked wonders last night for sure. That's as close as well get to the good old days when the platoon call outs actually meant something 😂😂
If they don't it's going to be the end it's not as much fun that's how I met almost 100 friends in the last 6 months maybe 10 and that was from single players I went and revived

6 man platoons could get really sweaty, but man I miss that gameplay! Running around solo or with my 2 kids as teammates and fighting off a 6 man was such a rush!
Four-man cap has been pretty good, only real downside is that you never get picked up anymore unless running solo. Used to be fun after a 3v3 or 3v2 to gg and combine and rampage as a supergroup.
Without a doubt 6 man platoons. Far more interaction/assimilation in the DMZ with 6 mans. Sure they never balanced them(even though there was plenty of opportunities to do so S2-S5) but the fights that could be had with 6mans was unlike anything you could ever find in any game. Some of my favorite moments in gaming came from wiping a 6 man as a solo. I genuinely miss 6 mans so much

How they should've balanced platoons is by map, smaller maps like ashika should be limited to 4 player squads, Vondel 5 and al mazarah 6. They should also of made it when going up against platoons they would be announced when in close proxy to anyone even without a comms vest and give one temporary ping of there general location so you can choose to either engage or avoid. But I'm still playing dmz, I tried mw3 for a few months but it's just not as fun as mw2 dmz, oh well...

I almost solo'd a 5 man once, was doing a radioactive material contract then i get sniped at, so naturally i run into a building for cover, then a hatchback pulls up with 5 people on it, i semtex it and knocked 2 then get pushed by the other 3, i get cracked but knocked them all, but one of them threw a last second knife which knocked me, so none of us came out alive lol
u know some mission requires to do a exfil with 7 operators? now that mission its only possibile to do while according in discord and try made a pre made lobby
I don't understand why dmz player are so aggressive towards players like what benefit do you gain for just killing a player in dmz just do your missions If it's just to regain its not even hard to do it dmz then when there whole team gets slammed there like pick me up like the tf yall started hell no like you shouldn't never got greedy for one kill in the first place. On top of that they can be Ops towards their own team pleading just for you can pick them up and abandon their own teammates Like I remember trying to join a 6man, but they were full. My teammates without Mice killed me and looted me like we was just in the same team how greedy can you be. But then again it DMZ...

I play solo almost exclusively but I had my most fun when 6man and active combat zones overlapped.
