- An updated video of the debris collection process at Eisenhower Park in Augusta Georgia. We get to watch some of the debris trucks unload and get to see an overview of the amount of debris located at Eisenhower Park. I did not see any 'chip' trucks today at Eisenhower and there seems to be a small maintenance area setup to keep the trucks and other equipment up and running. There also looks like a few trailers setup for the people to sleep in.
Please give the video a like and subscribe if you haven't already. Thanks for watching.
You mentioned a landfill… do they have a specific landfill to dispose of all this? When that landfill fills up then where do they bring it? Thank you. Excellent video. Thank you
The 'landfill' is the Augusta landfill and it has room to expand for quite a while before a new location would have to be found
@ Thank you!
Working from 7 am til after dark… 😮 wow… I would love to know how many trucks leave there daily to go unload the mulch! I can’t take even a wild guess! Sure would love to know… and I can’t imagine the cost of this removal. The men’s wages, maintenance of these trucks, heavy equipment, gas… the list goes on & on. And this is just 1 area of the flooding clean up correct???
The local Government has budgeted $30 million and FEMA is reimbursing all costs for the first 120 days of collection.
