    Those buses were the best. I rarely see them breaking down. I'll certainly miss them.

    I Was Born In The Way Late 50's So I Was Raised Up Going On Those GM Fishbowl Buses And They Had Style All Their Own Too Bad I Don't See Them Anymore,Great Video!

    i drove most of these buses when they were at wilson division & i know i drove both 2444 & 2290 numerous times each; the gm buses weren't quick off the line, didn't have air-conditioning & were not disability-accessible, but were fun to drive, especially in snow; i really miss them, especially their sound...

      Didn't the Fishbowl buses with the big box on the rear window have air conditioning?

      @@42luke93 oh, it gets plenty hot here in the sumertime, with high humidity...
      the ttc was just too cheap to purchase air-conditioned buses...

    Bus #2290 was sent to Ireland where they collect old buses from transit companies.

    It amazes me how a 30 year old Detroit Diesel can produce no smoke at all.

      @@antoniojmonetti Detroit Diesels have a reputation of being smokey engines. These ones are exceptional.

    Were Toronto Transit Commission's GM T6H-5307N New Looks a mainstay of their fleet through the 1990s and in to the ENTIRE 2000s?

      Yup almost a 1000 of them in service at one point in that time frame

      @manudogom1764 Some even were in service by December 31, 2009 which marked the end of the 2000s decade.

    for fans of TTC fishbowl buses rapido trains is doing a 1/87 scale. bus numbers will be 7737,7910,8049,8058 and 8155

    So 52 Route was majority of 1991 Orion Vs until their retirement in 2009, then GM Fishies took over.

    Why exactly were they called “New Look?”

      Because they came after the Old Look. I’m not kidding, 1959 I think they came out, they were the New Look of transit buses at the time.

      If you've watched Jackie Gleason from the Honeymooners, the bus he drove in the picture were the "Old Looks".
