  • The clips in this video were shot during a half hour timeframe on the morning of August 26, 2009 outside of Lawrence West Station. The buses, all built between 1982 and 1983 are based out of Mount Dennis Garage, which operates routes 52 Lawrence West and 59 Maple Leaf, both fishbowl strongholds.

Man I gotta move to Toronto, I'll be the most luckiest man alive to live in Toronto with all those Fishbowls they got there, but Im not happy at all that the 1987 GM/MCI Classics are gone.

In Philadelphia, the PCCs would have the 2000-fleet numbers and the Fishbowls would have the 4000-fleet numbers. In Toronto, it is reversed.

@knightclassic1 none of them are 1981 models what you saw was 1982-1983 models only 2755 is the only 1981 model left and it is currently TTC's Oldest bus

@TTCOrionVII8100 yes i rode that bus many times. i still remember riding this bus on 54 Lawrence East.

@97SCT Sadly it would most likley be not because TTC will only keep a 1983 and/or a 1982 New Look since 2755 is the only 1981 and Currently the oldest TTC bus it will most likley be retired.

It would of been nice if GM can start making buses again and make a low floor bus with a similar design.
