Good yarn review:) I am also using up my stash now. I also had purchased multiple skeins of Super Saver Ombre a while back. Both of the colors I have are definitely brighter than the new ones - I will use solid color yarn with my ombres to complete my planned projects. I like your idea of washing the swatches before the project:) Will definitely try that!
Pound of love is rubbish. It did the same thing to me after making a large blanket with small stitches. It look horryfyingly old and worn and completely smeary😢 I just love how you gave all the information about how everything washed up it was soooo helpful. It's like after using pound of love I am so over cautious about yarn now. Also I always wanted to try caron one pound but wouldn't and now I'm going to go for it! Thanks so much!! It was really helpful!!
Happy to find your channel! I found out ordering the RHSS in “soft white.” it’s now an oatmeal shade 😳 I emailed yarnspirations. (And returned the yarn. Luckily another store had some old stock. I bought all they had!)

Someone else mentioned they changed country of manufacture which is why they are totally different in color
Yes. Yesterday I went looking and saw three different countries being used (Turkey, Canada, and India)
