  • The No. 18 Notre Dame Fighting Irish had little trouble getting past the visiting Boston College Eagles, 98-48. Six players scored in double figures for the Irish, led by Hannah Hidalgo's 27 points on 9-15 shooting. Hidalgo also registered 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals in the win. Maddy Westbeld was a beast as well, scoring 15 points and grabbing 15 rebounds for Niele Ivey's club. The Fighting Irish defense was relentless, holding BC to 29% shooting, including 1-19 from three-point range. Dontavia Waggoner scored 12 points to lead the Eagles in a losing effort.

I thought that I was the only one that saw that. The girl hustles, blocks shots, and doesn't miss a bunch of layups like Kaylee Watson. They could have used her against North Carolina and they may have won that game; because the girls were tired because Coach Ivey only played Six (6) people and never put Becky in the game, I just don't understand that.

I am "NOT" impressed by Notre Dame beating up on some undersized team. Kaylee Watson can only score when you have someone much smaller than her guarding her. She misses a bunch of layups every game. This is "NOT" Notre Dame's year! It may have been best to set Conia and Olivia out until next year. Because they are "NOT" going to WIN the ACC or the National Championship this year, thanks to some really poor Coaching by Coach Ivey.
Next year they have one of the "BEST" Centers in the Country coming in with 6'5'' KK coming in from New Jersey, who averages 18 points per game and will be a great addition to the team to help with some inside scoring. If you put her with Olivia, Conia, Hildalgo and Maddy Westbeld, that is a Championship Team! Maddy has a COVID year if she decides to take it.
Then you have Prosper, KK Bransford, Emma Risch and Jenna Brown coming off the bench.
I know that they have another Recruit coming in with KK, but I don't remember who she is.
It is easy to see Notre Dame winning the championship next year, because the 6'7'' Center at South Carolina will be gone, the 6'7'' Center at UCLA will be gone next year with three other players, Catlyn Clark will be gone at Iowa, and Becky at UCONN will be gone as well, so the opportunity is wide open next year!

Ummm the 6’7 center at ucla is a sophomore and ucla is only losing 2 grad students in charisma and cam brown… lmaooo. ND won’t be winning anytime soon.
