@nash3689 ~ I'm an artist, too, and this looks like a kit I will use a *lot*! At least 95% of my Sims paint (career or hobby) so I will have fun matching up my various Sims to home studios they can get creative in.
@@angelofsugarpops I actually enjoy kits for this reason, they allow players access to features previously locked behind more expensive packs. $90 is crazy!!!
I actually like both packs! I’m trying to keep my game cc-lite/mostly vanilla now. So, more content like this (even if I have to pay for it) is up my alley! Plus, they (mostly) kill it with the kits!
Now that I've been staring at the pictures too long...there's also a ufo on the light colored kids blocks, and possibly some kind of alien head on one of the blocks. Lots of hot air balloons, too.
The nursery kit is giving base game vibes, not necessarily in a bad way - it is not the style I love building in the most but I am rebuilding every world which is pushing me to not only use my favourite items over and over and having more different styles for nurseries will just come in so handy! I can’t wait to update art rooms in my high school build and rec centres with the art kit! 🎨😍
I just completely rebuilt a 7 story house for the goth family in Strangerville. 3 below & 4 above. I obviously had space so I made a baby room. Now this comes out?!? I’m still playtesting it so of course I want it.
I love the nursery kit. It's great to see a changing table and infant play mat outside of growing together. I just hope there will also be some wood colors for the furniture. The toddler bed and infant crib look like they might become my new favourites. The artist kit didn't pique my interest until you mentioned a woodworking table. If we really get a new woodworking table for the first time in ten years, I might get this kit after all. But if it's only clutter, then I think I'll pass on this one.
I just hope the changing table and play mat are functional for players who haven't purchased growing together? They could be just decor items otherwise I guess?
@@name-shmame The code for the changing table is in the base game. Any cc chaning table works with only basegame. So the changing table should definitely be functional. No idea about the infant playmat. There is a precedent however: if I remember correctly the code for the vanity table was moved from the stuff pack to base game when we had a kit that gave us another version of the vanity table. From that patch onward CC vanitiy tables work with only base game. So there is hope for the infant playmat.
Love both of these kits. I don't use cc so more stuff like this is greatly appreciated! I've made over Vlad and building him a new home - he wants a nooboo so the gothic kit is perfect!! 😄
So it could be nothing, but as long as we are speculating and making guesses… that screenshot starting at 4:18, if you look out the window those look like tombstones, and with a pack about life and death coming up it just made me go 🤔
The nursery is giving me hopes of a future circus pack also the tiny details in the mural and the toys on the baby play thing are a llama gnome alien spaceship and plumbing but I could be going nuts I wonder if the grinding teeth pic is a zombies tease
I don’t understand why the kids can’t just use the Adult easels .they could use them in the sims 3 and it was great they even got a skill level for it. I’m getting both kits I’m so excited about it.
@@uviana239 On PC or Mac, there is a mod that give you a functional pottery wheel. Look for a mod called «Functional Pottery Wheel» by mirai_ts4 You can craft some pretty nice plates, jars and some other objects.
A couple circus references, magic town or am I delusional. Lmao. The canopy of the bed looks like a tent and the plushie cart is a circus train carriage. A lot of air balloons references and animals. Please the sims gods if they give us balloons animate it. I will lose my mind if it's a ferris wheel situation again
Love the art kit, kinda wanna scream how much I hate the baby kit. That is not at all what storybook means to me. That's victorian. I hate it. I hate it a lot.
Hm I was excited when hearing about the artist retreat kit, but now looking at the screenshots I feel meh about it. I mean, it's cool to have more stuff but it's nothing really new or that special?? I might still buy it after reviews as I really enjoy building in the sims, but for now I'm not that excited about it. But thanks for sharing the news ofc :D
Edit below* Not that hopeful for a pacifier update. Since the backdrop of the pictures are plain, I think they are generated off the screen, which means the pacifiers could be a dumbbell situation. Its not in game, only generated. I doubt but I hope we have option for either different color backdrops or take the pictures ourselves. (New Borns specially) The ones in the screenshot seem generated. Which is cool but worries me. Edit: didn't remember the leaked asset, maybe pacifiers are coming, at least they could be accessories if not functional, better than nothing.
I just wish there was a little bit more content with these kits. It doesn't have to be as extensive as the bust the dust kit, but just SOMETHING other than recolours and decor! They should add some new paintings you can do in with the art studio. The nursery could have a baby chair for infants. It's not that much really
@@Judiland I am wishing along with you. How great would it be if a parent could take their baby/infant/toddler out in a stroller while also walking the dog?!
@@cosmicpanda4265 We already got the Riviera kit, I think that’s it. The two kits just got announced officially and turns out the nursery is a collab with Sixam. So I doubt he was thinking about Italy when making it or knows what the future packs are

Is that a baby carriage next to the Changing table I see?? 🤔🤔 N' is it useable like can the sim mom or dad put thier sim infant in it abd take them for a nice stroll maybe in the park? That be cute and cool. 👍 but that ONLY IF the baby carriage is USEABLE. 🤔🤔
The goth kitty doll is dressed like Bella!!!
Super cute too. 😍😍
As an artist myself, very into the kit. Also getting access to the changing table and play mat because I don't have growing together.
also, anyone who doesn’t have nifty knitting or horse ranch can have a rocking chair, assuming it’s functional!

The amount of sims 2 nostalgia we're getting lately makes me so happy.

i will probably buy the nursery kit because I do love the design. I do wish the kits were more like 3 bucks.
I wonder if that round photo frame is new too!
I wonder if that wallpaper could be hinting at a future world.
It hints at a sims 2 remaster
They always stay away from remaking worlds from previous games so probably not
Random thought but I really hope they separate floor details (paint splatters, scratches, paw prints, etc) from the rugs. Same with walls!
Oh yeah like making a “floor/wall details” category or something
Looks more as if these are the Kids of Alexander.
I am really looking forward to the nursery kit …
Toybox is a miniature circus that may be a hint
It's a circus train animal carriage, and the canopy of the crib looks like a tent.
