DQ is so much better. Didn't think he would get up to this level. If he gets Chinese RPB training, he'll be a lot more awesome. Glad to see RPB is making formidable comebacks on the international scene. F. Lebrun and DQ, we love you both.

Not an easy game for Lin..

The comment about Dang Qiu and Benedikt Duda being the only Germans left in the tournament is wrong. Ricardo Walther is also still in.
As of right now, me writing the comment, he has won against Quadri Aruna, and faces Anton Källberg in the quarter finals.

    DQ太依赖反手了,一个直拍运动员这么依赖反手还是感觉太惊讶了,他应该还是走反手启动的类型,其实有了现在的基础,还是应该加强正手上手的能力,因为你毕竟是直板

@watson10132 if you carefully watch it again, it's definitely dignics in his FH.
But, I just don't know which dignics was it

Lin is from Taiwan Taipei. Get it straight announcers. Stop pandering to the CCP.

now in this case i'll side with the person criticizing the professional commentators :) im sure their bosses have some fucking contractual obligations with the chinese nat'l team, but there ought to be some stronger negotiating tactics employed on the part of wtt

Doesn't matter what political system Taiwan is, the land itself is part of China, and the people are Chinese.

@@yodaichi888 Nonsense, Taiwan is not part of China.

@yodaichi888 They fought to separate themselves from the oppressors that are the communist party of China. I don't care that they're blue-haired Eskimos. They're Taiwanese.
Until at such time as they freely (not a threat of extinction) decide to submit themselves to Chinese rule, they are Taiwanese.

look it up before you try to correct professional commentators. adam bobrow has a video about lin yun ju where he explains the pronunciation as roughly being "lin win roo"

He is trying to gaining muscle to protect his wrist so his speed might be going down a bit. It takes time to get used to it. ((Comparing to his body in Frankfurt last year, totally different size 😂
