You can tell that Bruce is really focused on the singing part because he plants himself and barely moves during this one. Normally he’s all over the place.

I agree.. This is a difficult song to sing which some singers would not agree to sing. Not sure Big Brain Singer chose the best one here. I love to hear Bruce sing Hallowed Be thy Name and the way he holds a long long note which seems forever. I do not think Bruce sang this Talisman song often!. I wouldn't.

Nope, he hadn't had any training at that point. But I think he got to know his voice a lot more in the 90s during his solo career. He had coaching in 2016 after his cancer.

Bruce really plants himself in this song, almost like he's trying to summon energy to sing this extremely demanding song. Especially when you compare it to footage from songs like the trooper where he's barely stood still fir 5 seconds at a time. The perfect song to demonstrate what Bruce is capable of especially in the modern maiden era

According to most sources, Bruce Dickinson has never had formal training of any kind, but instead has a "naturally operatic" voice. ... When he returned to Iron Maiden in 1999, he returned to his classic air raid sound, although by then his voice had deepened slightly due to age

he says in his book he has not had vocal coaching but when an ex girlfriend said you might have a voice he went to the library for books on singing. he has a chapter in his book discussing his voice.

The odd-order harmonics... 3rd,5th, 7th, and even 9th... So high in level that it often sounds like he's sharp... But if you listen for the fundamental, you realize that he's actually dead on pitch.
I know how the sound works, I was a sonar tech. I have no freaking clue how Bruce makes his vocal tract do it... For four decades.

That makes sense, Marko said Dio was a big influence to him as a singer, Bruce also said the same. Ronnie James Dio was just a legend of metal vocals, the "metal version of Freddie Mercury" as another vocal coach said.
