.I’m sorry doc but you are missing the most important aspect. The most important difference is the amount/volume of the drug that can be introduced into your system. An intravenous user can dissolve a 1/4 to an entire gram of meth in water and shoot that entire amount with a 1ml syringe. It’s IMPOSSIBLE to inhale that volume of meth in one hit. Human lungs just are not big enough. It would take many hits to smoke that much. So the two ROA’s may be similar in the speed that they reach your brain, but IV allows a user to intake much more of the drug at once.
Back in 2014 I smoked meth for the first time and I did not get what the fuss was about. Then about a week later a “friend” suggested I shoot it up and unfortunately I did. It was like doing two different drugs. IV meth was sooooooo much more powerful than smoking. Not even comparable. I instantly knew my life would never be the same. Within a few months I lost my job, got a felony, and then was in rehab.
Anyone reading this...do NOT shoot up meth or any drug. It will ruin your life and it’s so hard on your body. Do NOT do it.

I didn't give up. I never quit. I'm proof that drugs don't find their terminus in death and depression. 19 years later and going strong. You count your years sober like it's some kind of triumph: I count my years still alive. Narcos and drugs are like Scylla and Charybdis: it kills 99 out of every 100 people who try to get by it. But that isn't because the drug is evil, but because humans are weak. And that 1 guy? He masters the dragon, the dragon does not master him. You weren't that guy. That's fine. But I was. I look up videos like this to see the guys demonizing the substances. Mine was heroin. Mine is heroin. Heroin? Heroin gave birth to the greatest artistic and philosophic movement in history: Romanticism. Nietzsche, Yeats, Poe, Beethoven, Proust... all those guys- daily users of opium. Hendrix- you think that was pot? That was Opium's modern face: heroin. Lol. Pot, really? Opium ruled the great era of artistic and philosophic development on the continent. That substance was the philosopher's stone, the "sophic hydrolith of the wise", the prime-materia. The all-medicine, as Paracelsus called it. It still is. Does it kill 99 out of every 100 dweebs who try to use it? Yeah, it does. And that's a good thing. That the Muse weeds out the losers: that, my friend, is a good thing. Stop denying what and who you are. You're enlightened. You felt what your own neurology is capable of without the restrictions set in place by Nature and mankind's little "civilization". Nature designed your nervous system to perpetuate a genetic code and nothing more, to be its mindless servant; and mankind laid out a civilization for you just to pacify you with stupid distractions so it could extract every ounce of material value it could out of you, like a body does to its HIGHLY EXPENDABLE red blood cells- that's it; it did not intend you to be the brain or the lungs or even the effin' kidneys. Why don't you take that nervous system into your own hands and bend it to YOUR will? I'd recommend you go out and start copping immediately after reading this and leave the little human world behind, like I know you once did. Your fellow man doesn't have your back, my friend. What did these talking monkeys ever do for you or give you? You're going to conform yourself to them: to them and their little, what do they call it, a 'world'? I piss their world. You think God sides with this new Sodom and Gomorrah? Really? I wish I could resurrect Abraham himself just to watch him piss all over this nonsense. You think God sides with these people? You think God sides with this? Then you're on something stronger than I ever imagined. Go ahead and tell me the name of whatever that new drug is that you're on, but whatever you do, stop asking for permission from these little hairless apes.

Very good. The only thing I'd disagree with is (with my first hand experience in mind) IV meth use produces a primary rush and high that is almost incomparable to smoking it. For a moment it feels like an entirely different drug. IV is incredibly more powerful than smoking therefore it produces a better euphoria and longer effects but the side effects both short and long term are much worse as well

If you know what you're doing and only use the needle once and once only and always clean your tools the likelihood of getting any of these diseases is minimal. Nobody knows better than the user themselves. Get your facts right next time please😮

as a recovering IV user who shot for years, absolutely. Shooting ice is a whole nother ball game than any other ROA. Shooting it is soooo much more euphoric and addictive, and the way this guy describes the rush doesn't do it justice. The rush from shooting it is the period of time you go from baseline to peak high and the feeling of "rushing" that comes along with it as you reach an extreme state of high in a matter of a minute or two.

Also... An important factor they don't teach in NA or Rehab is that relapse is a part of recovery. When I would relapse, I would stay in that mentality and continue to use for long periods of time because of the way NA and some rehabs condition you during recovery. And I was in agony during a relapse because it is not accepted or recognized that relapse is a huge part of recovery. Once I internalized that concept, my relapse time would gradually reduce. Nothing is impossible! You are limitless! Statistically speaking, do you know how many addicts recover and stay sober their first try? Yeah, slim to none. If it worked the first time, every time, there wouldn't be rehabs or NA groups to attend. The drug industry would significantly diminish if it worked that way. So to anyone out there struggling, remember this... Relapse is a part of the recovery journey. Not everyone relapses. But your journey is just that. Yours! No one can tell you not to detour off the path or stop focusing on the goal. Their story is not yours and yours is not theirs. But that doesn't mean your story doesn't deserve a chapter in the book! 😉 You are the author. Keep writing, my loves! Keep dreaming of that life! Eventually you'll stop being pushed by your problems and you will start being led by your dreams!

I think it all depends. I used too smoke heavily and get street pressed meth pills, ofcourse the pills didn’t kick in instantly like smoking it.
But it only took about 30 mins tops, and when they kicked in the rush was much more intense than smoking too me. The euphoria was also much more intense, you were insanely energized but you also were much more upbeat and cheerful than smoking.
Smoking gave me more of a “tweaking” high.
There were times I’d be blowing big clouds and think too myself I need too get just a little higher it’s not hittin me while I’m lookin
Out of my windows for no reason at all and doin 20 things at once 😂.
I never banged meth (shot up) but everyone I know that has says it’s by far the most intense rush, as your shooting up and the initial hit of the Rush kicks in you can loose your hearing for a few seconds & it gets black and fuzzy, people have been known too have orgasms on themselves, now that’s insanely intense lol.
I never got that deep but that’s one drug that’s so powerful your getting caught up and trapped in it without you even realizing or just simply not giving a shit what anyone thinks.

Everytime people was around him socially all he would talk about is the drug, the amount it’s sold in, how it’s made, etc…. Omg it was so depressing and boring visiting with him, he made a comment that I will never forget, he said “I will shoot peanut butter in my veins before I would do without” he was serious too, that’s when I knew his addiction was very deep. He started using the shake and bake meth and then graduated to making it the same way and selling it. He became so addicted he took a gun and his 3 year old daughter and took off saying he was going to commit suicide, and the state police stopped him, and he pulled this revolver on the police, and they shot him like 13 times. Of course, it was justified, but so sad. Thank god his wife got help and they are doing great today, and his daughter is a straight A student, and everyone is well. Just shows how addictive Meth can be. Plus, he had depression problems, and this of course made it worse after he self medicated. Sad sad sad.

Meth is already bad enough but it can sometimes be "dirty", it's very acidic and it don't matter the method it's used, it's a lot worse on the body. Someone explained to me how hard that is on the veins and the visible marks it leaves. Another person i know that does shoot up meth says its better since they are not destroying their lungs. ( MDPV makes speed look like altoids its rush is so "gzzzzzzkkkkk" but then your impulse center can't stop urging you to do more even though MDPV not only reaped the dopamine harvest of your brain, it salted the fields. So 1st day
You think its meth. Then u notice you get a bell ringer and the most intense cocaine hcl rush who've ever known rush rapes you for the astoundingly long rush of 45 mins or so.. Then you feel a mild Amp high like you shot 30,45 of Addy for another 90 minutes. Then your awake for 19 more days bc you find you can't stop sniffing the shit even though you know it's effects aren't diminishing, their dysphoric. I even did no more for 4 days. 4th night had bemzos. No sleep.. finally I was think in of going to hospital when my bro showed with a bag of good but dirty shake n bake racemic meth. Didn't stay awake long enough to know if I was rushed or got the tingles or no. Fell asleep w works in my arm after banging 200 mgs of tina( in weight/product, not adding in cut)
      Snorting meth' strictly functional
Oral- awesome. 2nd best to iv imo
      Anal- 3rd best. Overwhelmingly iv
Smoking- reminds me of what people on 95 pots of coffee would be like.
      Tasteless ass.
      Anxiety prone. Paranoia.

Injecting it is a stronger high. And the high usually last longer and that initial rush is stronger. And I find certain people don’t react as strongly to smoking it as others. Some people don’t really get all that good of a high from smoking it unless they smoke a lot.

I just want to comment on the "rush" topic. You say that smoking and injecting meth both result in a rush. I am skeptical of that statement only because personally I have never experienced a "RUSH" from smoking meth - only from injecting it. That rush is what most users are after - until you have experienced the rush from doing too much in a single shot. It's different from overdosing on opiates because you are conscious thru it all and very frightening. Physical symptoms hit fast - ears ringing, vision blurs, heartrate escalates even some palpitations, body temperature increases until you're sweating profusely, nausea builds rapidly to needing to vomit immediately (which scares you because at this point you are still trapped in your mind during the rush and you are unable to focus on your surroundings or make your body obey what your mind is telling it to do. Such as get to the bathroom or a sink or wastebasket to vomit in. I remember thinking that if I could not get my mouth to obey my mind's command to open before my stomach decides to expel its contents then I am in real danger of aspirating some of it back into my lungs. I had a friend almost die from a similar experience which resulted in some brain death (which fortunately was reversible) and a form of pneumonia due to pieces of undigested food that aspirated into her lungs which could not be dislodged therefore causing irreversible damage. Experiencing all of these things at once still wasn't the scariest part of this. The worst part was feeling as if I was racing towards a cliff and that I was unable to do anything to stop it from happening. I remember wondering how far I will need to fall to die instantly? If it is a long way down will I die of a heart attack before I hit the ground? Will it hurt? Or what if I don't die and end up as a vegetable with every bone broken in my body. It seemed as if this rush went on forever but in reality it only lasted a few minutes. Once the rush reached its peak it was similar to being on a rollercoaster at the top of the highest point where is pauses for a second before you go over the edge and your falling but this time you know it's okay because you are now aware of what is actually happening- the rush is wearing off and you are finally able to become aware of what is going on with your body first then after that comes awareness of your surroundings. This was actually the last time I ever injected meth. The feeling of having no control over myself. Of trying to make body parts respond to my mind's orders seemed as if I was detached from my body because these are things you do without giving any thought to. You do not need to tell yourself to breath, your body just does it without your mind telling it to. I cannot speak for anyone else but this is something I have no desire to experience ever again.

As a recovered meth addict 3+ years of use. Now coming up on 4 years sober. I can say from experience and anyone that's used meth knows that there is absolutely zero comparison between smoking and injecting. Not even close. IV is like a completely different drug. Just wanted to say that because the differences are unlike any other drug even though it is the same drug. Such a powerful substance and anyone that's had their " bell rung " by a big shot of meth knows what I mean. Good video, but I feel like not knowing first hand information can be a bit misleading. Other than that. Subbed.

The REAL difference is that you can IV a lot more of the drug at once than you can taking a puff/smoking it. You can shoot a half gram at once if you want. It would take you all day to smoke that much.
So think about it. The IV user is getting the meth smokers entire day of get high, ALL AT ONCE. IV is much more powerful. Too powerful. Humans are not supposed to experience that much happiness.

I'm terrified. I suffered a blow to my abdomen and have massively damaged something.... Back in November 2020! I am an addict so they instantly think I'm there for pain meds, even tho I tell them no, I don't want any pain pills, they don't work. I've been to the ER 4 times. The Dr several times, actually fired my old PCP and got a new one... Just got the new Dr to find out in an addict and now he treats me different. Well I guess all I can really say is I am undiagnosed and I have lost so much weight now I'm only 115 lb. I can barely breathe, whatever is swelling in my abdomen feels like it's going to pop. They finally did an ultrasound and we found out I have multiple, however many that is? Gallstones? Why didn't those show up on the CT scans and all of the imaging I have had? And if the CT missed that, all those gallstones, what else did it miss? Obviously something huge but no doctor is taking the time to figure it out and I believe it's the fact because I'm an addict.

I’m so glad I’ve never used a gun (needle) to get high. To me, that shit is terrifying. I don’t neglect the fact that I’m a user, though on a recovery journey. Went to rehab for 10 months, was clean and sober till I started taking puffs of weed here and there till I became a heavy marijuana user again, blindfolded and ignorant - I felt for my own trap in not putting in enough work and by getting too comfortable in life; and it backfired pretty fucking bad! All the progress I’ve made in these last couple of years feels like I’ve made no progress at all, but I will repel all negative and opposing thoughts. To all the people, all my loved ones mostly, that look up to me and expected so much of me and I’ve let down - i tear up and cry out in pain and shame, for I am accountable and I am to blame, life is so beautiful and so short lived- it’s not a game. I just feel bad, very irrelevant and like a fraud before God, my loved ones and to those who have high hopes for me to escape out of these chains and shackles . One thing is for sure, we are not alone ( going to stop working hard to send this demon straight back to where it came from. Thank you for your help and advice. I was surprised to experience the rush more quickly from smoking it than injecting it, smoking would only take a few seconds while injecting would take 15-25 seconds. Smoking was more stimulating, while injecting would make me feel extremely relaxed, smoking relaxed me too just not as much, it’s really fascinating how the route of administration changes the effects the drug has on the brain so drastically. I have no loss of appetite and other than not sleeping I function and feel perfectly normal. I dont understand why it does not seem to have much of an effect on me. It cant be bad product either because I have gotten from multiple sources overtime. I would go as far as to say smoking weed had more of easily noticeable effect. With meth sometimes I dont even remember that I did it because I just feel normal. My friends quite clearly feel the effects because they act weird they move around weird they talk rapidly. An im just sort of confused as to why not much happens to me.

I'm guessing they both hit pretty hard. Thankfully I only take it orally. Smoking or injecting huge doses of meth seems suboptimal as a medication.

That's probably your heart and muscles surrounding it tensing up, chest tightness is normal. It's hard to overdose unless you are a new user or take a stupid amount, and it will happen in the first few hours, the first time I did it I was freaking out a day later thinking I was ODing cuz my chest hurt lol I was fine.

I just want to say that I Think there should be more research For medications to suppress methamphetamine Addiction. I don't think it is taken as seriously as opioid Addiction. Just because there are no seizures, vomiting, Shakes or anything like that involved with detoxing off of methamphetamines. The psychosis after methamphetamine abuse is horrible!!! I think it is understudied and undertreated !! Please help others speak more on meth abuse and ACTUAL treatments!

Ghb is more stronger than gbl

    • @Erolanya
      @Erolanya 5 месяцев назад

GBL is converted into GHB in the body. GBL is one of the two chemical components of GHB. The effects of GBL and GHB are very similar, but GBL is stronger than GHB and therefore even more difficult to dose. Reacting GBL with sodium hydroxide produces GHB.

Meth doesn’t really produce euphoria for me it just makes me focused and awake but I was also on adderall for years so maybe because I have adhd it just. Hits me differently than people who get hooked on it but cocaine is a completely different story it was a nemesis I’m glad I shook off!! I’ll do a bump every now and then if someone lays it out but it does not cause me to go off the rails unless I inject or smoke it!! Thus I do nether

Oh... they call that the flash. I totally would have called it that. I went to Mexico for vacation a few weeks ago. I decided to try Molly for the first time before going to a bathhouse. Normally, nothing stronger than booze for me. No one was at the bathhouse so I went to lay down. I have a vague recollection of a man coming over to me. I believe he offered to shoot me up with meth. Since Molly is very agreeable, I let him do it to me (giggle, giggle. Eye roll. I should have read about all the effects of Molly first.) Yeah, 3 or 4 days feeling like trash. A full week of barely able to walk. This does a number on the veins in your legs! And oh yeah, I want nothing to do with fake sugar anymore... That's what meth smells like. Bluch... When I listen to your video, I can't help but think you think the difference between smoking and shooting is a moral difference. Is that true? Does the addict think its moral or even more desperate? In my case, with all the stuff that happened after that night, the guy was clearly trying to addict me, so I'd sell for him in the US. While it did take some internal hoodspa to bring me back to my senses, I'm not entirely sure I understand the allure.
