i had known him my entire life, my mom was going to marry him, i was also going to change my last name
i dont remember to details of how it ended, but they broke up and it ended up really really effecting my mom, and i just pushed back all my feelings about the situation because i wanted to be there for her
i hate to admit it but i miss him, at least the man i that i was shown, it turns out things were allot different with him and my mom than i thought
i ended up having a really traumatic experiance, and he was the one who got me away from it, and he held me during my first panic attack
he was amazing around me
and to watch someones real character unfold infront of you, when you trusted them with your life for so long and had no clue that that was who they really are, it really does hit a different pain
i thought we were a family, a dynasty that wouldnt break, i thought he would always be there, and one day, within one moment, it was all gone
i havent had the heart to unfriend him on battle net, whenever i see he is online it hurts, i just need that last thread, i cant give it up, not right now
i gave him all the love and trust i could, and he shattered it all
it is so insanely hard to trust anyone
with both my mom and my dad i always want to be in the loop about whats going on in the relationships they are in (they arent together anymore, both with other people) because i dont think i could handle the pain of that happening again
its lead to some arguements with my moms new boyfriend, he is amazing, and he has done so much for me, and tries so hard, but there have been times where i accused him of putting on an act, and maybe not being the person i thought he was, all because of what the man who was supposed to be my step dad did, and i feel like crap, because he shouldnt get the backlash for what someone else did, but its just so hard to trust people.
ive had relationships where they ended up not being who they seemed, but its so much different, at least with them i watched as their diguise decayed away peice by peice
but with him, within a second, he ripped off the entire thing, and i had no clue there was a disguise to begin with
and the hardest thing is i dont feel like i can talk about this with anyone around me..
