Oopsie! No Thor here. I’m will be buying my first RV in the Fall and Thor has been nixed from my list for a while. They just keep showing their true colors. Thanks!
Hey guys, I picked my brand new B Van on Thursday. It’s really perfect. We did a 3 hour walk thru PDI the day we bought it. Drove it 900 miles home with 3 overnights. Performed flawlessly
You guys are so funny. I love your verbiage, Pierre. If you haven't ever seen Cozy Living, you need to check out their video on the factory tour of the Thor plant on the Hurricane line; it's an absolute joke. The guy doing the tour does the blame game very well, and no one in the plant is happy. I wouldn't be happy either if I had to make junk all day. Great job, as usual.
Well thank you 😊 I hear you! I wouldn't be happy as well if my employer didn't reward me for a great job once in awhile. Either through praises or comps. When there is no ethics, there's no accountability. When there is no accountability, there's no rewards.
How can anyone who has watched more than one of your videos not understand a quality inspection saves money, time and aggravation. Any of those will casue issues with your wife, husband or signifcant other. Another video showing exactly what can be wrong with a new unit. Thanks for showing us...
Go figure right ?? Then there's the other ones that would never bow down using an inspection team out of fear to look weak or lose their " know it all" status they are trying to give people around them about this false sense of knowledge they really don't have 🙄...
Just had this conversation with someone yesterday 🤣🤣 they will have to find places to make the inventory dissappear to not be so obvious they are stuck with so many units right?
Do I really want an RV that was designed to have 25 tubes of caulking as part of the build? It’s designed to leak sooner or later! Why do they design a product that needs sealant on every exterior part? Crazy!
Just remember the old saying is happy wife is a happy house , but its the same with the RV . Getting a RV inspection before you buy it like peace of mind inspection , think about it , do you really want to spend your vacation at a RV dealers or a RV manufactories to get your RV repaired ? Now if you did that I can almost hear your wife nagging at you and I live in Canada . Getting a RV inspection is like peace of mind in a RV with a happy wife = a good night sleep .
That rig is shameful. Even for a Thor and we all know how poorly built they are. It’s as if it was parked in a rain storm and they left the windows and door open. How could a roof age so much in one year? Crazy.🤦🏻♂️
We have a customer that bought in TX and had his Thor unit shipped to IN because they forgot to apply sealant "everywhere " around the whole unit 🤨 Spent the last 6 months there, still no RV to use...should have had an inspection "before" signing for ownership you think?
How can someone who is selling not think all that rust on the underside is not going to be a red flag. Seriously I would be embarrassed to sell something so crappy
It's all about showing numbers for shareholders...quality is not a priority in anyway shape or firm. Did you realize how more intricate and nicer the paint job are?? That's where the money goes...the bling that consumers fall for 😉
That motor home has literally been thrown together by unskilled workers who couldn't care less about what they're doing, whilst using the cheapest shoddy products! The vehicle was utterly atrocious, it is wholly unfit for purpose and anyone sleeping above the cab are likely to get long term rheumatic issues from sleeping in all of that dampness! If the manufacturer had been specifically intending to create a vehicle that's been thrown together with the aim of ensuring that it would leak terribly from both inside and out, then they've succeeded! There was no workmanship let alone a quality inspection, how anyone could release this wreck onto the market is a complete mystery! In the simplest of terms, its pure garbage!
Totally unsatisfactory all around. Not maintained, not well built, and another stain on the RV manufacturer industry's reputation. Folks! Please, please, please hire a certified inspector--not a hack, not a wanna be inspector, not someone who will charge you $400 for a couple of hours and will maybe glance at the unit. Pay 1-2% of the selling price ($150,000 RV would cost $1,500 at 1% to inspect! A BARGAIN at twice the price!) to have a TRUE, REAL, TRAINED inspector give you a comprehensive inspection and matching report before you spend a ton of money on a money pit.
Couldn't have said it better myself .. If you know you have what it takes, find a teammate and show up to our next endorsed workshop. OH in August, AZ in October. Consumers and this industry needs more of us 😊
Oh yeah the warranty joke!! They do that as a reach around to get you to buy it. Some things the warranty just will not fix because it's not fixable without getting a whole new unit. Smart money will Always, will Always, get a quality inspection. The to key words are Always and Quality Inspection. Not all inspectors are equal! You want a , sounds bad but, anal retentive Inspector. One that looks at and touches every inch of the unit. A inspector that documents everything with photos and what's a nice to get fixed and the things that must get fixed. Then you have the Safety of Life things that absolutely must be fixed. With a great list of things wrong you now have the tools and the power to get a better deal. Most, but not all, salesperson for RV dealerships could teach a used car salesperson a thing or two. Remember always get a quality inspection from the Best like Blue Ox. It's the best money you will ever spend.
Bust for me. Just do me a favor, no more short guy jokes......we do use ladders, eh? Your inspection epitomizes the quality that Thor has become known for.
It's like they screw up on purpose 🙄 BTW I always saw you as a "grand" person. Never realized you see yourself as a short person...isn't that a syndrome for insecure short guys !? 🤣
@@blueoxontherun9188 I believe you are referring to the "Napoleon Complex", which I do not suffer from. However, I am rarely mistaken for Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.....probably because I don't wear Nikes 😃
Great video, thank you for educating the new buyers unaware of the sales department lies.
Always an inspection by qualified folks!!
Good inspection!!! 100% Bust -- I mean run fast and don't look back
Well, there you go, Thor! Dam, those short people who can't seal all the way around! Master Class! Thank you guys.
🤣🤣
Love how Pierre has turned the manufacturer name into a curse word!
My bad 😲🤣
Kinda flows right off your lips doesn't it?
Just think, someone is going to end up purchasing this RV some day, hope they know what they’re getting into
Well, there you go Thor
Thank you for these videos
You're welcome Terry!
Thank God for you two. So, very needed
Too bad so little people know about Blue Ox Inspection !?

Glad you are happy 😊
All that rust and water leaks…RUN!!!
Thor,Thor,Thor-Run,Run,Run
It sad that they both associate with each other it seems 😔

Thanks again ☺️
Why does Pierre clap his hands when he starts?
He mentioned it in another video, just curious.
Love the content and have learned soooo much! 🎉😊
Got your attention right??
That's the goal 👏
I need that moisture meter. Do you mind sharing the brand and where to purchase?
Go in my tool box at the bottom of each of our videos..."Pierre's tool box" you'll find different helpful tips and tools 🔧 😉
Why does the RV industry keep putting out poor quality products. I don’t get it
People are still buying them expecting it's quality...lack of knowledge
Just think, a $100k+, single use purchase. I don't know if the US has enough land to bury all of these disposable monstrosities.
Just had this conversation with someone yesterday 🤣🤣 they will have to find places to make the inventory dissappear to not be so obvious they are stuck with so many units right?

🌪️ This Thor needs to be parked up directly in the path of an impending hurricane.
Then go collect on the insurance.👍
Pass GO and collect $200 🤣🤣
Too many issues for a new unit. The rust is a bust!

The only thing you would have to show me for that unit to be a bust is the name Thor on the outside.
They definitely need to work on that image and 😊
