    There is no one more I want to see succeed than Bateman

      Great point. I agree. Other than Lamar, personally, who I want to see win a Super Bowl. I agree though, I want Bateman to have success.

      His biggest criticism from me is his mental toughness. He has to learn how to have a short memory

      @@GMoney88-x2 hopefully TM can get him more involved in motion and quick screen plays since everyone is expecting those plays to come from Flowers and not Bateman

    Work schedule prevented me seeing the game live.
    Your work makes up for that.
    Thank you.

    I like Bateman, I have for a bit now, and I hope his confidence begins to grow and he can get back to where he was early last year!

    1. They’re trying to get him completely healthy (which he has only looked in the last two games to me)
    2. They’re also working on getting his confidence back because if they just start heavily targeting him and he happens to drop another big pass or even a TD it WILL destroy him for probably the year even not worse. My biggest knock on Bateman is his mental toughness.
    3. They’re throttling him or preserving him so he can get to the playoffs both from a strategic perspective and an injury perspective.
    I believe it is all of these things in this order

    Rashod Bateman has always been an elite receiver fasho he just needed to recover and sharpen his skills some more that's all now that's he's fully healthy, he would breakout into that homegrown star receiver just like Zay Flowers fasho 👍🏾

    Had the privilage to seat with RB#7 and TW#16 yesterday those brothers are uptimistic.. we laughed at bateman seeing the bat signal on that play, dropped back to save his qb. Mr. Wallace feels good, cant wait to be outhere doing what he loves.

    This is what will help us get deep into the playoffs. Having at least 2 consistent WR options plus Andrews will help us tremendously.
    I love the idea of mixing things up a bit. Truthfully, the only game where you should be regurgitating well know plays is in Thursday night Football games, and that’s because you condense the playbook due to the short week. Outside of this, it’s important to increase the diversity as much as is possible for your team.
    However, I wonder if the players don’t know the plays as well as they possibly could know them and that’s why we’re limited.

    Bate just needs more opportunities. When the season started I said it was like we are fighting with one hand by forcing it to Zay.
    In the IND game they corner could not check Bate and we never went to him 1 on 1 backside

    The underthrow to Bateman was giving me flashbacks of all the times we had a jump ball with Proche or Duvernay and it ended up being an interception. How many times have we seen other QB's like Burrow throw it up for guys like Chase or Cousins to Jefferson where they make a play? It was nice to see that happen for a ravens receiver for once.

    I don’t know if you had a chance to listen to Harb Mon presser but it explains a lot. He said towards the end of the game the defense call we’re vanilla.
    I believe he is being conservative and it’s showing on both sides of the ball

    There's a graphic making rounds that shows Bateman is getting the most separation league wide. Any chance you could do a study to prove or disprove it? Thanks coach

      @all_22_films  11 месяцев назад +1

      Interesting to read that. I think there is some film to show that would support that, but I also think routes are run from different parts of the field and that influences the amount of space there is to operate in. I think he is playing well, and could definitely get more targets. This Offense is a Spread Offense by design, and I wonder if the touches are just going to be distributed in a way that limits everybody to some effect. Flowers definitely has a lot of targets though, so I do think Bateman could have more than he does at this point.

    I agree he's earned some more touches but We just not going to act like it's Lamar's fault or the coaches for bate not reciving the ball bate is position he's in because of himself, he gotta show up, we not hiding a 100 yr game he had, show up

    • @Jajuan_Sanders
      @Jajuan_Sanders Год назад +2

      I think Bateman has only had one bad game. That was the Steelers game. Outside of that, he has never struggled with showing up.
      I think you can look to the coaches in this type of situation when looking for answers as to why a 1st-round pick isn’t getting more targets. Unless, it’s just because they were trying to limit his reps to lower the chance for re-injury.
      Yet, when you draft a 1st-rounder, you give them targets at least to make good on the investment you made. And the Ravens haven’t targeted him enough when you take that into consideration.
      If they were purposefully holding him back for health reasons, that’s good player management. If they were just overlooking him, that’s poor coaching honestly. And the Ravens do have a reputation with not developing most of receivers well.
