Thank you once again for the detailed video. I especially like when you focus on something and shut out the surrounding noise. I enjoy when you walk through nature and ask lots of questions to the local people. I have a good feeling that the nice man that accompanied you to the town is Belmin’s dad? 😊

I am 28 years old, from Bosnia, and while watching your video, I was reminded of my childhood and visiting my grandparents in the countryside. You've awakened a sense of nostalgia with this video. There's nothing better than nature, children's play, a carefree mind, and eating fresh fruit. I don't think I'll ever have such deep sleep as I did during my childhood. Everything seemed more beautiful back then. Thank you once again for this clip.

The country isn’t war torn, but this village is. It will unfortunately probably never recover to the way it was pre-war

@@BenTheRulesThe degree to which it was actually directly impacted by combat compared with how it may be been economically impacted seems unknown. As the guide mentioned, the fighting wasn’t as heavy in this area. The exodus of the youth seems to be the real culprit to the village disappearing. I have visited similar villages and this seems not much smaller than what it may have been.

it doesn't , Sarajevo is #1 tourist destination according to National Geographic for 2024, and looks better then most European capitals, you'll hardly notice any signs of war... this guy goes to film places where people just don't want to live anymore, as they moved to cities.

Sad to see that people just living their lives had to flee because they were the wrong religion (Christian) and that it most likely were people from neighboring villages who threatened them.
Also, that the possible reason why this village was located so isolated far up the mountain was that the people who founded the village back in the day had done so to escape from Turkish oppression.
