The Japanese perspective of simple & efficient solutions is remarkable. This video emphasises on reducing non-value adding work by a human ( Eg.Watching). Rather than the following automation blindly, Identifying & applying these steps is productive. Thank you for sharing this.
You are welcome Preyas. The fashion today is to jump into automation. If it is not done step by step, blind automation can be costly and wasteful. Avoidable non value adding activities can get automated. One company installed a large automated warehouse with automated stackers and automated guided vehicles. To do what? To store WIP. They should have reduced and standardized the WIP first, Then they could have automated if need be, The investment required for automation would have got drastically reduced.
Automation with human centricity is very impressive! The way it increased productivity and decreased defects and wastage of resources is so impactful. Thankyou for explaining with such daily life instances. This made it simple and relatable.
Autonomation and Poka Yoke couldn't be explained in a more efficient manner. Brilliant cast Dr.G , Amrsha and Shubhangi make learning more interesting. Thank you.
This video really helped in understanding the different methods of Poka Yoke ,like point and speak. Also difference between autonomation and automation was clearly shown. Thank you for sharing the illustration.Great work, sir and team!
The learnings have been encapsulated so beautifully. The comparison of manual operations versus automated operations via practical examples and the summary of all the learnings at the very end of the video are perfectly captured. Thanks for sharing this with all of us Sir.
A big thanks to the team ,I was reading a book in which yesterday only read the concept of autonomation .With your efforts the concept is much more clear to me now. Thank you sir😊

Thank you Maithili. These days everybody talks of automation and industry 4.0 and so on. However, the prerequisites and step by step approach is something not many understand.
