Happy ya'll are back at making videos! One of my favourite makers, not only the product you make, but an all around good dude. Hope you still get to go out and shred. Skate or die! Greetings from Quebec!

about your bit on body mechanics.. it reminds me of something my father always said "if you have a tough job, don't bring in a big man. Put the smallest, most determined guy you have on the job and give him an hour, he'll find an easy way nobody else thought of" (Not accounting for stupidity) Laziness doesn't always mean indifference.
We were always big on "work smart not hard" in my household ;)

I am really enjoying the RUclips videos Neil- Keep making them! Thanks for taking the time to put these together! One of the great things I get the most out of isn't just your approach and philosophybut also confirmation of the little nuances that happen around main techniques. I am always wondering when making a knife whether something is unique to me or if everyone notices these things. I guess this is what makes knife making a community. 🤟

The advice on not sitting when sanding is great advice, I also stand when sanding my knives. It makes sense.

Genuine question, when you use the contact wheel to been after your rotary platen, would that wash out most if the convexity if the grind? Or are you slightly rotating it in the y axis to accommodate for that?
