As a Samoyed owner, yes, these pups are the cutest but please please please do your own EXTENSIVE research on the breed before getting one. It’s A LOT OF WORK even for those of us experienced owners. We were so close to rehoming ours many many times during puppyhood. My mother in law told me that raising out pup seemed way harder than raising her 4 kids! 😮💨
To put it into perspective I run ours daily sometimes even 18+ miles and she takes a couple of hours nap and is ready to go again! Their energy is LIMITLESS!
The bark is soo high pitch and ear piercing that I promise you will loose some hearing. It’s soo loud at times that we have to wear construction ear plugs when we take her for a drive. And of course, she barks anytime she feels while on a walk or run, and there is just not stopping.
The stubbornness is real. They are soo smart but we’re breed to be independent hence the stubbornness.
Anyway, lovely dogs once you are passed all that lol 😅
We love ours now, but she has been a challenging dog, worth every once though. ❤️
Everything you said is true 😃. They are extremely stubborn and need a lot of patience. I wouldn't recomend them to someone without a lot of experience or with old and cranky neighbors 😁. They also demand a constant care because of their hair so people need a lot of spare time to properly take care of these dogs. They are really smart and friendy so they steal your heart in a second. But I agree that is really important to educate people about these dogs so they don't think they are getting a little ball of fur but an extremely inteligent but challenging dog 😊.
