Thank you SO MUCH! I started helping my grandpa as a kid and when my husband passed recently I decided to start this to supplement my income and I just wanted to say I appreciate all of your guidance and your videos. Its been very hard at times finding videos that im able to really "follow" and you make it quite simple. THANK YOU!
I love the dark video editing. It really gives me the feeling my phone just went into power saving mode. Really makes you lean in and focus to be able to see what’s going on.
Thank you! To be honest, this is an old video that was filmed at a time when I didn't have adequate lighting. I have plans to do an updated version of this.
Thank you for showing how to do this stitch. I was wondering how to do it. I literally have just started my leather making journey this week and have watch a number of your videos.
I'm new to the whole stitching, leather, tying off and everything. I have watched a number of your videos and they have been very helpful but I couldn't see anything in this video. I'm gonna give a a try and see how it goes.
very helpful video, thank you for the technique with the needles in a "T" shape, good for muscle memory. got one question, about the thread thickness? thanks in advance
Awesome, I'm located in Norway and I really want to get into this. Seems like a relaxing "hobby" I could use. But do you have a beginner tools tips video? I browsed your videos but didn't see.
@@BlackFlagLeatherGoods thank you. I noticed its been a while on projects on you tube. My other question is regarding gauntlets. Could or is it like the cup sleeve?
As a visual learner...seeing your hand and not the needle, did not help me at all. I'm so disappointed. I still have not learned the saddle stitch...sadly.

8:17 "left hand, pull up and away...right hand, pull down and away" THIS tip really IMPROVED the look of my stitches a lot!!! THANK YOU!

Yeah i'm gonna look up an instructional guide with diagrams then try use that in conjunction with this, his hand blocked a lot of what i wanted to see
I feel like it would be easier to see what is going on with the needle from an aerial pov
You are 100% right! I just didn't have one when I shot this video. I am planning an updated one.
Yes another view would help a lot. I have no clue what's going on 😢
Ohhh😮 the needle through the stitching thread...🤯
Nice video, I like the tutorials where someone explains what they are doing, good job
Thank you for all you content
Maybe the camera above your hands would give a clearer view. Your hands got in the way for me.
You're definitely right. This is one of my older videos. I have plans on remaking it with a little more production value
Brill vid! Just what I was looking for. Excellent tutor.
Very helpful video. Stitching sounds easy but is hard to do well.
Thank you! It is. Takes a lot of practice.
Thank you it’s on my list for this weekend to try .

The camera angle made it difficult to see what you're doing. I can't see through your hands. Otherwise, great video, thanks!

His coffee cup holder is a nice beginner project plus the template is simple, and free. Oh and it doesn't require a huge cut of leather. 😊
@@theartsypixie2771 thank you so much 🙂🙂
Good info but it would be better if I could actually see it.
Haha fair. It's an older video of mine. I will be redoing it in the future.
Hi, what is the purpose of looping the stitch over the needle?
Good question. It is what gives your stitches a slight slant. If you want them to be flat, then don't do it. It's really just a style thing.
Another great video, thanks!
Thanks, Mike!
Wow- ty I was wondering so it’s like a running stitch meets a back stitch? I am going to need to practice
It definitely takes some practice to nail down. Took me forever.
@@BlackFlagLeatherGoods thank you. I noticed its been a while on projects on you tube. My other question is regarding gauntlets. Could or is it like the cup sleeve?
I prefer to stitch with the right needle going through first. Will this cause any problems? Thanks for these videos!
It's no problem either way. Just do it the opposite way I did.
Thanks for watching!
I wish it was overhead. Hand blocks me and i am confused
Your hands are in the way to see what exactly you are doing
It would have been a good video if you could see what he was doing...
Your hands hide the whole process
Bro why is it so dark
