    Never had issue here from them. And it's great to have them come within a week vs from China months.

    I bought 16 3.2 volt cells for a 48 volt system. They work as advertised and speedy shipping.

    I bought 80 EVE 280Ah cells from Docan and tested about 10% of them at random. On average they tested at 272Ah, so only ~3% below advertised. Mine are definitely not A grade; as they swell quite a bit when fully charged. Overall Docan has been ok. The cells did arrive quickly from their US warehouse and were packed well.

      Not great, but they should still last many years, i've seen them swell a bit and still last a very long time, its a pain because you need flexible bus bars... but they should still last a long time..

    Looks like the 280ah cells you tested are ESS Rept cells while the 230ah cells are EVE cells. Please confirm

    You'll get a cheaper rate if you buy direct from China than if your purchase from UK or US warehouses. I had a good experience with Docan, but I never capacity tested them. Maybe I'll get around to it someday. I can tell you they are packaged extremely well and their communication is excellent. Delivery from China was quoted at 45-60 days, I got mine in 43 days. If not Docan, does the maker of this video have a recommendation for a supplier of lifepo4 cells they have a more consistent positive experience with? The idea that he would expect a brand new batch of cells to be sent for a 5% reduction in capacity is laughable. How could they possibly make money giving away cells for free? I would expect any product shipping from China to have a lower cost, but you will sacrifice some expectations of lavish warranties/returns. Those warranties and liberal return policies cost money. You can buy Battle Born at 2-3x the cost and get that fat warranty. Easy to replace your batteries for "free" when they are charging you the cost of 2-3 batteries for each one purchased.

      From your comments, I can deduce your support to the lyhoolic nature of Chinese as either being their sales representative or a native just defending themselves.

    • @Ry-lx2kl
      @Ry-lx2kl Год назад +2

      @Snr.Prefect. I don't know what Lyhoolic means, neither does Google. Maybe this was a typo? I'm an American, no not native Chinese. I had a good experience with this company after having a horrific experience with another supplier. I'm not affiliated with Docan in any way. I don't support the CCP. The simple fact is, as of today, the only way you're buying prismatic cells is if they were made in China. Even retail batteries from American suppliers likely have all the internals made in China. Really, not many (any?) options are available to buy lifepo4 batteries without them being made in China. My take is that the maker of this video got butt hurt because he couldn't get Docan to pay a bribe of new cells to get a positive review on his RUclips channel. So far, he hasn't shared an alternate source for cells. Expecting a Battle Born level warranty from a wholesale supplier that likely has very low margins is asinine. I just know how business works. If you make 10% margins, you can't afford to give away products. It's not a secret that American companies buy stuff from China and then charge 3x what the product cost them to buy. This isn't pure profit since they spend money on packaging, marketing, and warranties. They can afford to pay the bribe for positive marketing because it's baked into the price of their product. If you want those perks, then by all means, buy Battle Born (or similar) and get that warranty. Don't expect to buy a product at wholesale super discount prices and also expect an excellent warranty. That warranty is paid for by charging you 2-3x over the cost of wholesale.

      @@Ry-lx2kl Ive used Docan on several occasions and my cells have allways over performed. BUT, I have ordered from China at first and then Poland (EU) I'm in Rep of Ireland so the price you see see is the price you pay, sometimes shipped free too. No import duty and no added vat. Easy to downplay a company but who are you comparing them with ?

      I got 16 cells from docan 8 cells were 14 months when arrived,4 were 13 months old and 4 were 8 months old.When I bought them the new grade system was in effect as ordered by ccp.If the cells are EV grade you get intact QR code ,if not EVE puts a B over the QR code.Now my cells are "not bad" but they are not grade A.If my cells would have been new they would of had a clear QR code which would have cost Docan more otherwise it would of had the B stamped over the QR which would have costs them less

    I bought 8 off 280Ah battery cells for one year ago and are very satisfied how they perform. However, I bought four more a couple of months ago but they have now been stopped by the Swedish postal service due to "dangerous goods" and the postal service is just saying the sender needs to contact them. Jenny Wu at Docan Tech have always been helpful and promised me to fix this issue but nothing is happening and she is no longer replying to my mails, so please be aware that its not always good customer service. I have already payed for the batteries so would be nice if I get them. I have no idea what to do now. I have contacted the Poland Warehouse (EU stock) that have sent the batteries and they are referring to Jenny Wu at Docan Tech and she is saying she have contacted the Warehouse and waiting for a reply and she is no longer replying to my questions. Im in the middle and have no idea what to do.

    • @Ry-lx2kl
      @Ry-lx2kl Год назад +7

      Rather than just trust a random stranger on the internet, why don't you give us some details on what your "terrible experience" was. This video maker's terrible experience was one set of cells being 5% under capacity, while a second set of cells was 5% over capacity. Based on his average results, the cells should be at rated capacity. His stated reason for why the cells may have been under capacity was from too long of storage in a local warehouse. Therefore, if you buy direct from China you're likely to get better than advertised capacity. What was your experience? Did the cells arrive well pa kaged and on time? Was tracking provided? Were any cells damaged? What was Docan's reaction to your issues? Did they make an attempt to correct their error? Do you have a more positive experience with a different supplier of cells? How did this new supplier perform better than Docan?

    • @mira-sturdivant
      @mira-sturdivant Год назад +4

      sure but what exactly was your terrible experience... i think you need a lot more detail than a vague 9 word comment for us to understand your experience.
