Monster Jam at Cbus Super Stadium Timelapse 2023

The dust has settled (literally) on our first ever Monster Jam at Cbus Super Stadium.

💥 20 container-loads of Monster Jam trucks and equipment delivered onsite
💥 3,060 cubic metres of dirt for the track build (that’s 500 truckloads!)
💥 8 x epic Monster Trucks weighting 5,500kg each
💥 1 x Pit Party and 2 x shows delivered in one day
💥 39,566 revved up guests!
To host Monster Jam, Cbus Super Stadium’s lush green field was transformed into a dirt track overnight last Thursday ahead of the two shows and a Pit Party on Saturday 21 October. The transformation of the venue was dramatic! Check out the time-lapse of the track being deconstructed, with the field returning to its green status by Sunday afternoon below 👇
Our Grounds Manager Phil Burke said the Grounds team will now prepare the field for works in preparation for the upcoming NRL season.
“Now that the event’s over we’ll take the opportunity to do a full end of season renovation and assess what’s required once the soil is removed and whether we do a top-shave to remove old thatch or a more conventional renovation involving scarifying, oxygenating the roots, applying soil amendments, special fertilizer and top-dressing.”
