I've said it before but I'll say it again: I LOVE that he doesn't constantly LOOK at what he's doing. He FEELS what he's doing. When I went through massage school, they frequently made us massage with lights off or blind folded. Look when assessing, feel when addressing.

If I could tell my younger self...don't lift weights to see how much you can lift, lift weights to keep your muscles in good balance with an eye on having a body and spine that will last you for the long haul. Stretching and movement are also important. So glad this young man got in to see Ed at age 20 instead of age 40. There is hope for improved and sustained health at that age.

I don’t even understand why my back hurts but hopefully I can save up to see an amazing chiropractor like you doc! Thanks for all the work you do healing people :)

Instead of just treating and moving to the next patient, great care is given to attempt to explain what is going on, why he is treating the patient in the manner he is, and the detailed explanation of what is going on and what he is doing to fix the problem. Gold standard delivery of care right here.

Everything that the kid mentioned happened to me. I can see he has been doing his research almost like an obsession to figure out what he is feeling. C4, T4, L5 are what I had inflamed. It messed me up doing my overhead movement with too much weight. I was fine in the beginning but over time it got worse. I went to seek help and currently working in overcoming it.

i've suffered from upper back and shoulder blade pain (right side) for almost 20yrs. chiro, trigger points, acupuncture, massages, etc didn't help, not even nerve ablation. fire cupping and scraping (gua sah) helped a little. stretching the arms/shoulders back during PT really helped me a lot. and also doing the chin tuck exercises really helped. also, massaging the Scalene muscles in the neck helps to relax the upper back and shoulder.

Gees as if I was recommended this video. I legit feel like I have the same issues as this guy. Sprained my back twice, sprained neck, broke my collar bone, and got hit by a car (all separate instances, got hit by the car about 2 years ago and I'm still numb around tail bone, assuming it will stay like that at this point). My lower neck is always sore, shoulder blades to (they stick out weirdly like this guys). Sometimes lower back is really sore. Often when neck sore i get a headache in back of head near neck.
I'm not sure how much chiropractors are in Canada but your professionalism is making me think it might be worth going to a chiropractor.

I have this exact issue and have since 2013 after a motorcycle accident. The winging scapula has happened to me multiple times since the late 80's but each time it's gone back to normal on it's own. I've had it tested by a neurologist and found it to be what's called a Long Thoracic Nerve Pulsey and there isn't much that can be done for it other than surgery. I'm wondering if this is something that can be corrected via Chiropractic? I have tones of crunching in my right shoulder very similar to this guy, it can be very pain full.

My fascias were stick together and my muscles absolutely rigid. No subacromial space.
20 minutes of streching Everyday saved my shoulder. I just reset all my muscle shoulders , but it was progressive. I needed one full month to do it. I’m sure u can reset and became your muscles flexible again just stretching.

I had one side (right) that was almost this bad years ago. I used to do a lot of push-ups, but not many pull-related exercises to counter it. I stopped doing pushups and instead use a cable machine to do chest presses and such. Now I have virtually no winging scapula. I never had treatment for it. I guess it was just poor technique and posture to begin with and it somehow fixed itself. When I look in the mirror now, even the side that was horrible to me looks just like the other side now.
