FSU has the number 16 class On3. 247 rankings give a lot more weight to total recruits. With only six commits so far and likely to triple that number if not more. The 247 ranking is basically useless.
FSU is 100% leaving and will pay the $1/2B if they have to. If someone can set me straight on what I say below, please respectfully do so. I'd rather be corrected than be in error. My take: If we "hypothetically assume that the ACC wins 100% of the cases." FSU is NOT stuck and FSU will pay the money. How/why? 1) They don't have drop $500B on the table BEFORE they leave. They pay the exit fee then the rest of it over the course of the contract. 2) Staying in the ACC until '36 will result in an approx $57M per year, per team in the B1G and approx., what? $40M per per year behind every SEC team? Added up, staying or leaving results in essentially a financial wash. 3) Being in the ACC is already a major obstacle for FSU recruiting. Stay in the ACC and wither away, recruiting elite players becomes almost impossible.4) Despite going through their worst stretch in 40 years (they were ass-sorry) FSU is in the top 10 nationally in game viewership/ratings. They did this while playing the likes of WF/BC/Duke/Syracuse/Pitt/VT. 5) Go to the B1G and, even if they suck as much as they did 5 years ago, they will playing the likes of: OSU, Mich, USC, OR , UCLA, Penn State. Their ratings will likely be top 5 nationally. That's a lot of value. That potential value can only be realized if they're in the B1G/SEC. Stay in the ACC and just as broke as leaving and FSU's winning tradition becomes a distant memory and their opportunity to compete for natty's dies.
You I don’t doubt anything you said brother and I surely feel FSU will get out somehow, I just don’t feel FSU has that kind of change laying around and is willing to drop it just to exit. With NIL and new construction going on as we speak being a state budgeted school that kind of money isn’t a drop in the hat. 🧢

Brian Smith is not an FSU fan man there's just no way. You go on here and suck up to a Miami, and an Nc State fan. Same guy who said FSU didn't have a top 10 NIL, when Ingram Smith went live on youtube and said it's top 5. Amazing

I think he is really good at plucking guys off the portal and putting them ahead of his recruits in the depth chart. That’s why the 5 stars won’t come. Look at what happened to Hyakeem Williams in favor of Keon Coleman.
