You mean to say this truck is nothing like replacing injectors on diesel Ford Superduty. What kind of mechanic is that. That doesn't know how to fit extra slim ratch and blindly turn and feel the bolt without being able to reach it with the hand.. Then you guys say oh we hardly ever rarely have to those jobs. Your right the room there you can make a closet.

As a 2015 Freightliner Columbia glider owner I must say you sir hit a lick. That's a beautiful unit. That room in that engine bay is magnificent. I work on my own unit for what I can do and I really appreciate hood trucks now. Congratulations on the acquisition sir.

I know guys like talking about and comparing their road steel, but at the end of the day what do you care about their opinion of your truck and how it was put together or registered. Seems like you found a great loophole in the system and that should be for the guys that has the same passion for the build. I did the same bro I have 2016 w9 and got rid of Cummins isx put a pre 2000 12.7 detroit 60 series Is well worth all the money I spent so I feel you brother....nice truck

Mine is not as nice as yours but to me a truck needs some flaws. It’s a working truck not a show truck. Those little things your pointing out aren’t much to worry about. Big girl has character.

Your good with those 3 08 rears. I have 3 06 rears and a 13 spd eaton and I pull 105,500 consistently. No issues climbing hills!

I have 308 n my Carhauler with a c15 acert n she pulls good.

Never heard of these Trucks! That cool to find out about them. The truck looks like an old Werner Truck. It’s the same rears gearing and color.
It's not a Werner truck. It's green, not blue, but close lol
Now that's a ride, i would definitely go that route if I had that kind of money instead of a new truck.
The color is beautiful the whole truck is sharp, to me u selected a working mans trk which fits ur character u can work on and build the way u want enjoy and keep grinding, if i see u out i hollar and see how munch fire is on the wire

In the 70s we had the not as much horsepower . Had steeper rear gears . 4:11s w/ a quad box in the Mack R . Times change . When Cummins K model came out everything changed 600 hp
If the steering wheel is aluminum some good hand polish would work in the truck or take it out and use a dremel tool with polishing compound bars

for general freight 3.08 is perfect. Im a heavy hauler i pull 13axle low boy and for me 4.11 is ideal.
