    Vielen Dank, Jan Henning und Norber. Nachdem ich mir seine Tutorials angesehen hatte, begann ich mit dem Bau meines Segelflugzeugs.

    Thank you Norbert, I you can ask Thomas how he do it in order to not get "dents " in the curve of the attack edge that would be great !!!! maybe he is not using Mylar and he use other material that streach???

    Wait, i saw adding color directly to the resin. Wouldn't this change the hardening process and/or ultimately undermining the strength of the build? Mind if you explain a bit what type of paint are you using? For small stuff, i think this is a great idea of this works.

    • @NorbertWigbels

      The color supplement ist part of the resin line. You have to read the product description to match on how much you can add without harming the curing or strength.

    hello very good video, I would like to know what type of epoxy resin used, resin working times and if possible any specifications, thank you very much

    • @NorbertWigbels
      @NorbertWigbels  5 лет назад

      We are using epoxyresins: 285 or 385. You can vary the working times by choosing the hardener. Everything around 60 Minutes is good. More possible, but drying also takes longer then....

    Good morning, thanks for sharing these tips.
    Please what weight fiber fabric you are using? And what is the weight of the reinforcement fabric?
    Hug .... and make sure that already won a fan in Brazil ....

    • @NorbertWigbels
      @NorbertWigbels  8 лет назад +1

      +João Paz 50 gr/m² at the nose. Top and bottom with 25 gr/m². CFK reinforcement is about 50-80 gr UD.

      Hallo,
      Könntest du einen Link von dem verwendetem CFK gewebe teilen.
      Ich habe noch keines gefunden wo sich die bahnen so wie in deinem Video auslösen lassen.

      Hi Juan, please excuse the late reply. Jan is using PET foil with a thickness of 0,25 mm.

  • @magneresjuan

    Norbert sorry to bother you again !!! but can you tell me whats the pressure he use from the vaccum pump for the tail and the wing?

    • @NorbertWigbels
      @NorbertWigbels  7 лет назад

      Hi Juan, there are no problems with you questions:) It depends on the foam you are using. If it is unformable through the vacuum process, you can use as max vacuum as your pump can produce. The typical Thomas pump can go from -0.7 to -0.95 bar

    • @magneresjuan
      @magneresjuan 7 лет назад

      thank you Norbert for your help!! im using very thin mylars( 0.8 mm) too but I think the vaccum is the problem as you said the first time.

    • @magneresjuan
      @magneresjuan 7 лет назад

      0.7 to 0.95 what messure? CFM? psi? thanks

    • @NorbertWigbels
      @NorbertWigbels  7 лет назад

      -0.7 to -0.95 bar (I have corrected the original comment.)

    Hello there. How much colorant pigment do you use for 10 gr epoxy.

    • @NorbertWigbels
      @NorbertWigbels  6 лет назад

      2-5% matches 0,2 to 0,5 gr for your 10 gr of epoxy.

    Wie stark is eigentlich das Gewebe und wie hoch is der Unterdruck?

    • @NorbertWigbels
      @NorbertWigbels  7 лет назад

      Fuer die Leitwerke verwendet Jan 25 Gramm Gewebe. Der Unterdruck darf so hoch wie es geht, ca. -0,9 bar laesst sich mit Thomas-Pumpen erreichen.

    Hello. Do you sell the full set of DLG for oversea?

  • @vandecirartes67

    my doubts, it does not use tissue to hinge on the stabilizer?

    • @NorbertWigbels
      @NorbertWigbels  8 лет назад

      +Vandecir Alves We use aramid fabrics for the hinge on the main wing with 60 gr/m2. You can make this hinge also at the stabilizers. Jan prefers to use Tesafilm for this (easier to build, less weight) at the stabilizers though...

    • @vandecirartes67
      @vandecirartes67 8 лет назад

      you have more detail of this product that it uses the hinge

    Thanks for your answer Norbert, Y use a ex-fridge vacuum, the Mylar its very thin actually its a 1millimeter or 0.8 millimeter. looking this video I realize that the constructor when the time tu put the up side myler on the foam tail live almost with no mylar cover the part where I got the dents...Am I right? you can see it in the minute 12.25, that could be the solution for my dents ? do you know if the vaccum bag will atick to the tail if there is no mylar between?
    As you say my tails look good, letme show you the other one I finished and the vaccum Im using: ruclips.net/video/sceTa6HqJoQ/видео.html
    Thank you very much for your help, thanks for you videos Im building with this technique

    • @NorbertWigbels
      @NorbertWigbels  7 лет назад

      There are mylars all over the tail when Jan is producing. He uses very strong vacuum and very thin mylars though. Perhaps that is the difference. I will ask him the next time I see him... Good result with your second tail! Thumbs up!
