"I'm unna do it, I'm unna do it if it kills meh!" You absolutely crack me up!!! I swear I watch 60% for the humor and life lessons! And only 40% for the junk journaling!!! Your channel brings me joy!
Great ideas, making decorated labels from normal shipping labels, creating something from your working mat with all the glue already messed on it, using spent gift cards as a template for tag corners, stamping on foam and using a brayer to smooth your glue covered pieces down which helps keep your hands from having more glue than your paper. Love it! Thanks
A couple of stamping hints - 1) new stamps, rub on the back of your hand to season the stamp and removed the residue from the mold. 2) on the clear stamps, lay it on your desk and then apply the block to the back of the stamp - keeps it “straight-ish” and less chance of a “bubble” which can cause a bit of the stamp to not ink correctly. 3) I think you might need a bit more foam/cushion for the clear stamps. Love the idea of inking the labels - I’m a lazy crafter and those brushes are my best friend! And stamping on the sticky labels, just brilliant!!! Weeee I’ll be trying all of this!!
Oh, Julie, If I were rich I would ask you to come share a day at my work area. You are special! Yes everyone has done some of these but never as you do them. You bring me such joy. Thank you for the label ideas as I have several sheets that had no idea what to do with them. As always you have helped!
Thank you so much Weltha love. One of these days i will remember your name when i mention the dive bombing butterflies. Camera on, brain off with me😘🤗🤗💜
You. Crack. Me. Up!!!!!! Big time!!!!! I could listen to you all the dilly dally day long....... you just roll along with whatever and then we all play along that was the way it was meant to be. You make your projects so very doable and with accessible products and still manage to make them joyful and simply funfunfun!!!!!! Thank you as ever for the giggles and grins.... 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🧡🦋
So glad to see your idea of printing a tea color or coloring yourself the white labels! Oh Julie I am moving house and since I am by myself I am packing up myself and I’m not even sure that my new house is going to hold my craft stuff!! Trying hard to decide what to not take but that’s so hard!! Lived here for over 9 years now and I don’t think I even realized how much I accumulated! When I got divorced, sad I know but I had to, I must have gone a bit wild buying craft goodies. Glad to see you using the VersaFine Clair because I did the same thing!Yikes!! Love the stamps!💕
Brilliant you are definitely on form but I have to leave you or pause because I need the loo because I’ve laughed so much…. LURVE you Julie as you’re such a breath of fresh air 🤗🤗🤗🐈
So much fun, Julie! I also had a giant mug of coffee, plus you, equals great beginning to my day!! I’m thrilled that you found more stamps that fit the circle punches, I love those punches! I am such a ding-dong, though, I’m so scared of the craft police that I never figured out I could fold the book pages into thirds, with the glue line on the side! I haven’t liked having the seam in the middle, but did I ever figure out how to change the fold?? Nope!🙄🙄 Then the tip about using a piece of a post-it note to hold something small in a punch… nope never figured that out, either!! What ding-a-long I am! I love those Versafine Clair inks, they are luscious, aren’t they?! There’s also a color called “Medieval blue,” which is really something! Thanks so much, Julie! It’s always a great day when I get to see you again! (And you had more room on your desk than I have at the moment on mine, I’m working in that darn 6” square, again!) Have a great week! Erica❤
I always enjoy watching your videos. You just make my day. This is a really great idea I think they're beautiful . I believe I have some labels similar to that . Thanks a lot for the idea. Blessings and love from New Mexico
Fun video and you just can’t go wrong with postage stamps and tags and some book page. I have recently found there are some nice stamps for the price with the Globeland brand. I know they’re not like the major brands but having a few for variety is fun. In case you didn’t know Versafine Clair just released another 12 colors of ink pads and they have some light colors too. Here in the US they are just finally arriving because there was such demand for them. There’s a couple of pale pinks and purples even too. My favorite is the pale blue and tan. Thanks so much for the video and happy crafting! 🥰
Love the idea of using up labels and postage stamp stamps….they look great! I also have more craft supplies than life expectancy !!! Thanks for another great video! ❤
Julie, I love this idea and have all the supplies and tools to make my own labels. Yeah! Did you know you can also tea or coffee dye the label sheets? It would be faster if you just threw a few sheets in while dying your papers. They still will stick after they are dyed. But inking them is pretty easy and fast too. Just another option.😊 I also love how entertaining you are. Hugs! TFS❤
Hi Sandra, i've been coming back to your question all day, then getting interrupted. Here's a link to a video from House of Mahalo, where she gives a really good flip thro of most of the books i use for fussy cuts. I think the ones i used today were from the complete british Flora, but i'm not sure. Anyhow Justines video is fab for helping decide which books you prefer. Here it is ruclips.net/video/toVYD0vefIg/видео.html Hope that helps love🤗💜
I love these, but here in Canada there just isnt many books that have nice flowers to cut out. I search thrift stores etc but never seem to find any. So jealous of you having so many good books there to use.
The tags are lovely. Sometimes I think we forget that simple is beautiful too. I sure hoarded more craft supplies than I could every use. My idea was to collect everything I would need when I retired. I wouldn’t worry about money because I could shop my stash. Nope, always finding things I want. I think the brayer is a fantastic idea. Also to cut out your stamps you can use thinning scissors. I found pair at Dollar Tree. Works great especially for little stamps.
Thanks so much Ruth love 😊 i had exactly the same motive for buying so much and a little voice in my head says, if you don't use it now it will be vintage in 20 years😅 thanks for the tip on the scissors love🤗💜
Hey Ho Julie, so happy to have watched you this morning. Having some difficulties and you always make me feel better, a little giggle here and there. These are fantastic ideas to use labels and I really like the tags. Was thinking, could use a stencil on these labels too, that would be fun to see how that comes out. Thanks so much and look forward to seeing you again soon.
The tags are lovely and I enjoyed watching you have fun as you created your own stamps from the labels. I could seriously spend hours listening to you. Thanks for another video Julie xx
Oh Julie another fantastic video! I’m looking forward to more premieres. You are a true gift to the crafting community, and uplift everyone who watches you.😊 Thank-You for being you. I wish you many happy bunnies🐰🐰🐰
You know you are good when you have my other half cracking up with laughter when he happens to walk in the room. He thinks you are brilliant 😊 I wholeheartedly agree. Thanks so much Julie, you bring so much happiness and positivity to so many 🥰💕
How funny! I was up at 5am (USA Kansas time)...going thru a big box of miscellaneous junk mail bits, packaging bits, etc.,. and here you are!!! I now have only a stack of 20 junk mail return window envelopes and 61 tag bases of varying sizes, cut from the packaging. everything else got "binned" as you would put it....but no fear...the collection will grow again, right?
The collection will always grow Holly 😁 I was in a shop today and asked for a bad I didn't need because it was free and made of Kraft paper. I already have too many Kraft paper bags😐😅 You have been very restrained, keeping what you need and binning the rest. I get there eventually 😁🤗💜
Oh my lord ye r a hoot !! Love your bits and your laugh, and "wee" , of the projects are grand as well, i love and have great success with globeland stamps, holtz are too dear !! 🎉❤
Camellia Crafts, Coffee and enjoying Julie! Question******* What stick glue can you use that does not let your project come apart? I had the Elmers glue stick, a week later everything was starting to come apartment. Now I am using “Hero Arts” precision Glue (liquid) dries clear, but it takes a minute. Tried to save my project but it tore in places, saved some pockets but this was a tragedy. Errrrr, what a wast!!!! Love you dear❤
Hi Bonnie love. Glue sticks are sometimes a real pain. So sorry to hear about your project love. I love the elmers xtreme which is permanent and even sticks fabric. More recently i started using the purple elmers ones too as they are much cheaper here. My kids have used the purple ones for a few years to stick things in their school books and all has been fine. I do find all glue stickes better after a bit of pressure is applied, be it burnishing with a bone folder, my big sausage fingers or the brayer i've started using. I have a collage that i did almost 3 years ago with the xtreme and ut's still stuck perfectly. If i remember i'll show it in my next video🤗💜
😍❤️ another great video! Before I forget, I have bought both of Tim Holtz new scissors and I love them. I tried them out on a 35 page mega fussy cut kit. I didn’t suffer any hand fatigue.
Fantastic video. The postage stamps you created look far more like real postage stamps that the Tim Holtz book ones. And I'm sitting here having just sorted out about 2000 real stamps in the past 2 weeks, and still have more to do. Yours are awesome. Now I'm thinking I need to buy the stamps you used to make them and get creating. I have all my Stampin Up ink pads that haven't dried out yet to play with.
Thanks Julie love🤗 i too have a load of real ones....somewhere😐 it was fun making my own and i got a few labels used up. The globeland stamps were a surprise actually as i assumed they were smaller and wasn't expecting them to be such good quality. My timmy ones were a gift and i don't want to dirty them up with ink😅 I lost patience with my stampin up pads and could never get on with the way the lid opened and folded. they probably dried up as i didn't always close them properly🤗💜
Don't feel bad about your craft room being messy. There is absolutely no way yours is worse than mine. I will straighten it up when I have a craftalance or can't open the door.😮😮😮 alot of ink😂
You can dye labels with tea or coffee. Use a brush and apply the liquid like paint. Let it dry and repeat if needed. Just be careful not to make the labels too wet.
Thanks Sherry love. I had a fabulous day out with my eldest, shopping for 'vintage' clothes as she calls them, second hand as i call them😅 Hope you havd a great day too lovely🤗💜
Help!!! I’m going through withdrawal. No Julie for 11 days. I’m being totally selfish. A day is never as bright without a dose of Julie giggles. I should start a group called, JWG, Julie withdrawal group.
Julie you are a breath of fresh air!!!!! I just found you. I'm new to this and I just love your approach. I was wondering where do you get your stuff to fussy cut? I'm having trouble finding stuff to cut.
Julie I just love watching your videos, keeping me company, love all the sound effects: weeeeee, boop boop , Ohh, ooo, do do doo,, I'm havin' fun, leave me alone!! 😄
Brilliant idea with the labels. All your little tips work for me. I do love fussy cuts but I'm so bad at. lol. Or lazy, maybe. I must find someone who will fussy cut for me. Love job of course. I'm a hoarder of craft supplies and money. lol. Oh...using the brayer for tamping down delicate fussy cuts. Brilliant. I love it when the captions are on your video. Crack up laughing. You oughta try it. Hilarious!!
Miss Julie, you are the best. I love how you inspired me today my showing how to use all the book pages to make tags and labels along with stamping and using fuss cutting the flowers. They turned out wonderful. Thank you for sharing and God Bless you and your family. 🥰💖💖💖💖💖😻😻😻😻😻👍👍👍👍👍(🌹🐞🦂🌵)
Hey Julie, I love the stamps. It's a good idea, I've had a few stamps off globeland, there pretty alright for what they are, cheap as chips, but get some really good results, 🥰😘
Good morning ( Monday) missed this yesterday went out for the day for a bit of retail therapy 😊. I got those TH stamp stickers but wasn’t impressed at all if I am honest. I think your interpretation of them is way nicer and CHEAPER!!!! Thanks for sharing ❤
Hey Julie. Lovely to see you back. It's Monday afternoon here and watching while having lunch. My desk is a mess as I've started a new project. .Please don't pull any heads off bodies. 😂😂 . I love this project. I've started using lots of stamps lately so this is inspiring. I saw something so funny a few days ago. It was English twins having a rant about the price of ice cream. Try to find it Julie it's a hoot.Val.🐨 💟
I love these, I have the stamps and the labels... and now I have the incentive to make them. I cut my stamps with tiny-scallop scissors I bought about a hundred years ago (the ones with the purple glitter handles) and I use them backwards to look like torn perforations. Already impatient for your next video!😆😆😆
Julie great video stamps very pretty like how they look love book page tags sewn around and cute little muslin tab with cute button they are perfect YOU and girls have a great day ❤❤ THEOLA
You do your ink stamping exactly how you want my love. I've just had surgery and you're totally relaxing me and giving me something else to concentrate on. Thank you. You are appreciated x
My last comment got so long that I’m starting another! I just saw someone showing Timmy’s new Spritzers but I don’t love the grungy look that was created but I hope that you try them because they are nice and pearly…yay! Really lovely when not grungy. For the bookmark at the end of the video she sprayed solid colors on and that looked really nice!…
Ha ha ha. After culling some old books , I gutted a book down to be altered and folded the gutted pages while watching. Now I have more book pages . 😂😂😂 TFS. I love the tags.
Julie, I learned a trick about new silicone stamps. Stamp it in black archival ink. Several times on scrap paper. That prepares the stamp to absorb more ink. Then stamp it with the color you want and stamp off a few times to be sure the new color is pure. I learned that trick from Jennifer McGuire in the U.S.
FYI the new recoil scissors are great to use, not having the handle not wrap around my right thumb takes a bit of getting used to. They feel much lighter than my other big tonic scissors. Enjoyed this vlog, but I now have so many tags lol!!
I absolutely enjoy and love watching you ❤ this is a perfect way to use up the stuff you have I am a bad hoarder of all sorts so I have plenty of supplies. Keep doing what you do you are certainly one of a kind and I think you are wonderful ❤ I cannot wait for the next video. Have a wonderful day ❤
I like the idea of putting 2 book pages together then folding it in thirds. It gives the book page some weight. I haven't done much fussy cutting lately. I have to start sorting my ephemera into some kind of categories. I've got grunge mixed with delicate pink flowers and funny cats. Each needs its own container. 😁 I also have little folio kits and digital pages, that I purchased, to put together. I've spent too much, to not be using them. I need to stop buying digitals. Then there's the dozen of projects, that I've seen videos of, I want to make. There's enough for me to go years without adding any more projects. LOL 🦋
Preaching to the choir😁 i know just what you mean. I used to buy so many digitals i never even downloaded or printed some of them out and couldn't tell you what i have. i love to craft, i love to hoard and i love to shop. there is no hope😐😅🤗💜
Good morning Julie! So happy to see you this am! Hope you have a great day today. Got my printer! Thanks for your advice. Started playing with it yesterday so far I really like it!! I'll catch up with you later new puppy, husband and all that lol.😂😂 best wishes to you and family. ✌️🙏🤗💝💝💝
Hi Kathy love🤗 it's coming up to 3pm here and I'm sitting near the Cathedral in Sheffield City centre. Them bells are a bit loud😅 So glad you like your printer love, mine is still going strong. Go look after that puppy and hubby Mrs🤗💜
"I'm unna do it, I'm unna do it if it kills meh!" You absolutely crack me up!!! I swear I watch 60% for the humor and life lessons! And only 40% for the junk journaling!!! Your channel brings me joy!

How exciting! Congratulations!
How fabulous Wanda, well done him. That's one well deserved pizza party. Really hope they had a great time Mrs🤗💜
Ahhh what a way to start a lazy Sunday morning. A gigantic cup of coffee, a maple stroopwafel, and a 1 hour Julie video?? I'm a happy bunny 🤗🤗
Thanks lovely 🤗 it was going to go up last night, but I fell asleep😐😘🤗💜
I love stroopwafels almost as much I love Julie and her work.
@oheck5570 Come on over! I have 3 different flavors right now! We can craft, chat, coffee, and stroopwafel 😃
How I would love that. Thanks for offer. Wish it were possible.
I live in Italy, stroopwaffles are a distant dream !❤
Thanks so much for the tips Sue, do glad you enjoyed it love😊🤗💜
Oh, Julie, If I were rich I would ask you to come share a day at my work area. You are special! Yes everyone has done some of these but never as you do them. You bring me such joy. Thank you for the label ideas as I have several sheets that had no idea what to do with them. As always you have helped!
Thank you so much Weltha love. One of these days i will remember your name when i mention the dive bombing butterflies. Camera on, brain off with me😘🤗🤗💜
Just what I needed...a dose of Julie😊
Thanks lovely☺️🤗💜
You. Crack. Me. 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🧡🦋
😊
So glad you enjoyed it Ann love. I did plenty of pausing while I filmed this one😅😁🤗💜
Fun video! While I use a lot of vintage postage stamps in my work, I do like making my own postage stamps, too! Thanks for sharing! 😃❤️
The 6 inch square is compulsory, the post it notes aren't😅
Glad you picked up a few tips Erica love🤗💜

Hi Julie! Hope you’re doing well! Missing you!😊
I love these, but here in Canada there just isnt many books that have nice flowers to cut out. I search thrift stores etc but never seem to find any. So jealous of you having so many good books there to use.
Sorry to hear that love, i get most of my botanical books on ebay, good luck finding some Mrs🤗💜

😍❤️ another great video! Before I forget, I have bought both of Tim Holtz new scissors and I love them. I tried them out on a 35 page mega fussy cut kit. I didn’t suffer any hand fatigue.
Oooo that sounds fabulous Carol, so glad you love them, i'm very tempted indeed. If i buy them i'll blame you😘🤗💜

I like mixing the 2 colors on the stamp labels. 🤩I have labels packs for about 20+ years. 😂
What are we like, thanks lovely🤗💜
Love the stamps! You make everything fun Julie!
Thanks lovely☺️🤗💜
Don't feel bad about your craft room being messy. There is absolutely no way yours is worse than mine. I will straighten it up when I have a craftalance or can't open the door.😮😮😮 alot of ink😂
Couldn't agree more Phyllis. I sometimes post messy pics to to wind up the neat freaks😅😘🤗💜
This is such a great idea. I’ve got a bunch of mailing labels I need to do something with. I’ll definitely be using your techniques.
Thanks Debbie love, glad i could give you a few ideas Mrs 😊🤗💜
Another fantastic idea video….thank you….love it!!♥️
Thanks Linda love 😊🤗💜
I LOVE all the globeland stamps. I have several. Julie, You will like the birdie ones!
I must admit a few more fell in my basket😘🤗💜
Emma was written by Jane Austen ... one of my faves.
That's the one, I always confuse her with Emily Brontë. It will always be 50/50 😅🤗💜
Very nice ideas, goint to try them tonight, your the best, thanks for sharing, enjoy whats left of the weekend.
Glad i could inspire you to give it a go love, thanks for watching Nicolina😊🤗💜
You can dye labels with tea or coffee. Use a brush and apply the liquid like paint. Let it dry and repeat if needed. Just be careful not to make the labels too wet.
Thanks Sue love 🤗💜
Thank you for a reminder to use what I have!!! You're the best . ❤❤❤

Thanks Sherry love. I had a fabulous day out with my eldest, shopping for 'vintage' clothes as she calls them, second hand as i call them😅 Hope you havd a great day too lovely🤗💜
Just a thought, with your stamps being clear, what if you were to punch blanks out with your postage stamp punch and then stamp???????? 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Thank you Julie ❤ very relaxing and inspiring - be well xx
Thanks Janet, you’re welcome lovely 😊🤗💜
Love your style Julie. I really enjoy your videos.
Thanks lovely☺️🤗💜
Help!!! I’m going through withdrawal. No Julie for 11 days. I’m being totally selfish. A day is never as bright without a dose of Julie giggles. I should start a group called, JWG, Julie withdrawal group.
I adore you Julie! You make me laugh every time I watch your videos!! Thank you for another awesome one!!😂😂😂😂
I love your practical philosophy! 😊
Thank you so much Yvonne😊🤗💜
Thanks Jan😁 I'm pretty impressed with them, like you say, cheap as chips and stamp really well. I was a bit worried with that first one😘🤗😁💜
@@CameliaCraftsDesigns what you did turned out super , Julie 😘😘

Julie great video stamps very pretty like how they look love book page tags sewn around and cute little muslin tab with cute button they are perfect YOU and girls have a great day ❤❤
THEOLA
You do your ink stamping exactly how you want my love. I've just had surgery and you're totally relaxing me and giving me something else to concentrate on. Thank you. You are appreciated x
That was fun missus! Great idea! My dear old Mum used to always say “a blind man on a galloping horse” but think I’ve told you before lol 😊💚🇦🇺xxx
I’m sorry I missed your premier! I’m glad you’ll be doing more. I don’t think I was notified.
Hi Julie
Thanks for another fun and informative video! Where did you get your flowers to fussy cut? Was it a digital? Thanks again 😆🤗🌺
I very much enjoyed seeing your process for these tags. I always forget to glue my pages too!! 😀😹 Thank you for sharing!❤
FYI the new recoil scissors are great to use, not having the handle not wrap around my right thumb takes a bit of getting used to. They feel much lighter than my other big tonic scissors. Enjoyed this vlog, but I now have so many tags lol!!
Thank you for the chuckles and great ideas! I’m really enjoying your channel….you are a breath of fresh air!
Lovely video thank you. Jane Austen. Just saying.
Second comment, Julie. The stamps in Australia are all stickers now are they the same in Britain.
Julie, what size are your labels? I love watching you. You are a bright spot in my day.
I think I like them better Julie. Just making them yourself is so satisfying
Lovely video, Julia. I glued several pages together and then made a book page tab that turned out so pretty. (Limited crafty time at my end.)
Have a wonderful day ❤
Oh Julie these are wonderful! I always look forward to your videos. ❤❤
Found a bunch of odd labels at Goodwill
Great find love😁🤗💜
Love this idea with the labels!!!!!
Thanks Betty love 😊🤗💜
Great project. Lots of fun!!
Thanks love 😊🤗💜
This was fun to watch! I always get the best ideas from your videos. Where did you get those beautiful flowers that you fussy cut?
Love the homemade stamps, going to give this a go ❤
Thanks Patty love, have fun Mrs🤗💜
Love Tim Holtz stuff.....oooh goin to buy these.
You always have the prettiest flowers, are these from a particular book?
Love the ideas, enjoyed watching so much💙🪻🩷
Thank you for popping along to my live stream last week, it was surprizing and a true pleasure to see you there
I like the idea of putting 2 book pages together then folding it in thirds.
Containers galore! Oh you make me laugh.😮😂😅
I love to hear you talk. What part of England are you from?
Love the tags . I think me and you keep Amazon going 😂
So much fun watching you - it really is ❤
Where are the fussy cuts from? They are really pretty.
Good morning Julie! So happy to see you this am! Hope you have a great day today. Got my printer! Thanks for your advice. Started playing with it yesterday so far I really like it!! I'll catch up with you later new puppy, husband and all that lol.😂😂 best wishes to you and family. ✌️🙏🤗💝💝💝
