Yes I agree! Marco is absolutely one of the best ever, a true talented vocalist. As the same time he plays bass, he can put out so mighty vocals. Not for every musician to do!
Floor is a much better singer but the very first members of the NW army are loyal to Tarja and probably prefer the more metal/opera mix. It's something that must be respected, loyal long time supporters are rare. I don't like opera at all so for me it's simple, I jumped down the rabit hole when I heard NW with Floor.
Marko is a truly remarkable talent. His duets with Floor cannot be beaten by any other duo. For some of the songs he is lead in try High hopes or the islander.

Thanks for the reaction, Ever Dream is one of my favorites. I say the same about many Nightwish songs, but to me there's something special about "Ever Dream", one of the 1st Nightwish songs I fell in love with. In my mind "She Is My Sin" Wacken 2013 is quite a lot like "Ever Dream", especially what comes to Floor's vocals and Jukka on drums. She does the vocals alone.

Marko Hietala has one of the best voices - there's some solo stuff he gets within Nightwish, but he also regularly appears as a guest singer (Delain; Avantasia; you should check out the Ayreon Universe show as it has a lot of the who-is-who of fantastic power metal/prog performers) and he truly shines in his band Tarot, as well as his own solo album (released last year in both Finnish and English). The man is a powerhouse.
Marco is nearly as versatile as Floor is: he can sing all soft and pretty like an angel, belt with divine power or screech like a demon. 😁 Others have already recommended 'High Hopes' and 'The Islander', the usual suspects, but maybe check out his and Floor's duet of 'Ave Maria' once the Holidays roll around? That's him at his softest and a truly lovely duet.

My favorite Nightwish song is the one I am listening to right then. The word you're looking for is Floorgasm. Floor Jansen is the Viking Goddess of Song. She's more than human and in many ways indescribable. I do love this song, though. Just so good on so many levels.
You should check out Ghost River from the same concert. Marco (the bassist) has a much larger part in the vocals and him and Floor together is just fantastic! After listening to this group for 23 years, this song remains one of my favorites second only to "Sleeping Sun" from 2015.

As others have stated below, if you want to see more of Marco, you should check out The Islander from Tampere in 2015 or High Hopes from the End of an Era DVD (recorded from a concert in 2005) - from that same recording you can also find Marco and their first singer Tarja cover Phantom of the Opera. All three are examples of Marcos singing chops and they are all three quite different in style as well. I'm sure you will like them.
There are a lot of good nightwish songs you should check out, but Floor has also been on a singing show in her home country of The Netherlands called Beste Zangers, and you NEED to check out some of her singing from that show. In particularly, her doing a duet with Henke Poort from Phantom of the Opera. You know, if you want to hear her hit a high note that sounds like it could shatter glass.
The more you listen to Nightwish the more amazed you are going to be. The bass player is Marco and you should try out High Hopes to get a real taste of his vocals. Hold on to your hat!

Jansen can sing from classical to belting and raspy vocals like screaming and death growls, She is a soprano with a range of more than three octaves (C3 to F6 I think personally she has at least 4 Octave to 5 Octave cause her high chest belts can reach so high.

Jansen can sing from classical to belting and raspy vocals like screaming and death growls, She is a soprano with a range of more than three octaves (C3 to F6 I think personally she has at least 4 Octave to 5 Octave cause her high chest belts can reach so high.
