the most important thing is to just make goals and teach yourself not to look lol.. honestly its not an overbite thing, and when u slip dont allow yourself to give up... what really helped me was I watched allot of testimonies of ex pornstars and stripers who God showed them the spirit realm and they saw all the demons that attach themselves to those who get caught up in that stuff..its actually scary, and porn is no different then a drug, you become possessed and the demons force you to shame yourself,.. it just takes allot of hard work but I suggest scaring yourself thats what worked for me.. once I learned that porn was pure satanic and that you're pretty much worshiping the Devil it scared me...learn to think of those poor girls as human beings who are being possessed to destroy and disgrace there body in order to cause others to worship satan...it seems so harmless but its heartbreaking and it is sooo destructive to everybody involved,
I also struggled with pornography for years but this year I got so sick of it and of myself. I knelt down and surrendered to Christ and He's completely taken away that desire to watch that filth. He will keep you safe and set you free, just surrender to Him sincerely. We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them. 1 John 5:18 NIV

Over the last 10 years I have learned how possessive and difficult addiction can be for some. Our guys are like you; they have genuinely repented and are genuinely trying to follow Jesus, but still experience failure. The good news is that God loves you; He understands the fight you are in; and He is THE God of 2nd, 3rd, 4rth and many many more chances. I know this because I have experienced it. We have guys who were in your situation and are now dealing with it well. You MUST get in a small group that is committed to Bible study and honest discussion about our struggles. You also will need to learn places you can no longer go and people you can no longer hang out with. But most of all, you must keep coming back to God. Also, try to find a rehab center that is Bible based. The secular plans may work for some, but they will never change your life like God can through His Word. With much prayer Mitchell

@@Lee-qy8zs I know some people don’t believe in an age of accountability but I do and here’s why I say that. When I was 12 I was sitting on a pew passing notes back and forth with my sister. We were like 6-7 feet away from each other. My sister passed the note to me and it fell in the floor. When I was in the floor picking up the note I heard a voice in my mind that said, “If you walk out those doors and died today you’ll go to Hell.” 😳 It scared me! Really really scared me! I didn’t know what age of accountability was and don’t know if I’d ever even heard of that. But I know that I’d never heard any voices in my head before that day and I’ve never heard it again. Fast forward 33 years later I was 45 when I finally believed in Jesus and what He had done for me. When Jesus saved my soul He showed me things that I’d never ever seen before. The Holy Scriptures say to try the spirts (paraphrasing) so I would ask God to show what is the right. Paying and fasting will help and asking/talking with others about it might help as well. I am a father as well and understand your situation, the children today have unfortunately been indoctrinated at school. The have taken the lords prayer away, they are trying to erase the teachings of Father, lord and savior Yeshua. You have to awaken them slowly, show them and lead by example. They will slowly awaken, as you introduce them to the truth and miracles of light from Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. You can bring them to the light and tell them what what they need to do to receive the Lord and Savior. Repent and ask for forgiveness, he is a gracious God, he loves his children. He wants to save as many souls as possible. My daughter is 16 , I have been slowly working with her and she is starting to understand were the light comes from. At Christmas dinner just this year she bowed her head in prayer and said Amen all on her own, I was so happy and I mentioned it to my wife and we both smiled. That took 16years at which its never to late. There is always a glimmer of hope for our children, we just have to be patient don't push to hard and you will see the fruits of your labour. True! I can be that comment for the others. I started with drugs when I was 10, today I'm 23. The last 3 months have been a fight like no other, lost my love because of my sin. Lost friends because of my sin, I hurt my family with my addiction and my behaviour. The worst was knowing I did wrong but couldn't stop myself, my sins had me in shackles. Now, last saturday was my low point and I felt God's anger on me and I was frightened. I have tossed myself at the ground to pray and he answered me. Today I'm fighting with these sins because I can no longer grieve the spirit, I feel the pain and it aches my heart! God bless you and please if you ever read this, take heed! If you live filthy you will become filth and God will have something to say about it. Please if you did as me and kept going even you know its wrong. Stop! The pain will become worse until you die and if that repentance isn't found you surely will be found sad and lonely. Tomorrow is my day to say no, 6 months starting on this very next day I'll welcome my life as a sober man. Rehabilitation with Jesus is my only way out of this nightmare filled with wicked spirits. It happened to me, after I believed in the sacrifice of Jesuschrist, I asked him to be free of my sins, so He helped me with sobrenatural power to quit my vices and now I'm not slave anymore, Jesuschrist has made me a better person and I got a new purpose in my life, to serve him and share the gosspel with everybody.

What do you mean Paul's blindness eclipsed Jesus? Paul did not take away the Light of the World, Jesus Christ. Please read Acts 9. Jesus caused Paul to become blind, then Jesus had Ananais heal him. Paul then could see that the Gospel was for Gentiles, too, not just the Jews, and God put it in Paul's heart, the desire to preach that to others. Scales fell from Paul's eyes, such as when we are drawn to Christ, He enables us to spiritually see that we all need Him as Saviour and Lord of our life. We are blinded and walking around in darkness before God enables us to see. Maybe I misunderstood your meaning...just wanted clarification. Thanks.

When you have the feeling (we call it intuition) that you should or should not do something, many times that is the Holy Spirit (God) talking to you. When something doesn't feel right and you can't put your finger on what is wrong, that is the the Holy Spirit warning or cautioning you. Example - I fell asleep driving one time late at night, alone in my car, sound asleep, and was crossing the entire freeway (4 lanes plus a shoulder lane) and heard the words "wake up'" loudly in my ear.... which woke me up to be able to slam on my breaks just before slamming into the rear of the horse trailer that was being pulled that I was getting ready to ram into, and was able to miss having that accident because of it. It was by about 12 inches that I missed it by. Ex. - I heard, once, in my head, as if someone was talking to me, "Turn around and go back". Again I was by myself. When I did what those words said, I was able to help a male that I finally saw that was back at the place where I first heard those words said to me as I went past that area. He was collapsed on the ground due to injury. Ex. - I had suddenly forgotten where I was going and Slowed Down as I was trying to remember where the heck I wanted to go as my mind had suddenly gone blank, (no, my memory is fine). 5 seconds later a car raced in front of me and slammed into a telephone pole to my right. Ambulances, paramedics had to be called for the driver who had lost control of his car. If I had kept going forward at the pace I had been going origionally, my body would have been totally decimated, torn, & broken and I would have been instantly killed as the car would have hit me square in the middle with its front. They estimated he was going 65 in a 20 zone when he crashed. I can feel the wind as it passed by and the roar of the engine.... still. Suddenly my memory came back and I knew where I was going but I was busy calling for help. These are just a handful of things that God has done for me throughout my life. Things like this have happened to many people, and I imagine that God has communicated to you even though you may not have recognized it. God's communication with us is usually at "whisper level' or feelings or the feeling that we need to do something we are not sure about and can't really explain. As far as money goes..... God only asked us to tithe (give 10% of our paychecks) back to the church that you go to or one you choose to drop the funds off at as a thank you to God for all that He has given to each of us. This is God's money. He doesn't need the money as He already owns it. He shares with each of us. He says basically.... 'I will give you this. Show me gratitude and trust by giving me back just a small portion of it in gratitude.' You, nor anyone, has to give more just because a church asks for it or an evangelist says you will get... (whatever they say.... fill in the blank here)... if you give them that money. Remember.... Friend.... Jesus (Son of God) said.... "Follow me." He Never said, 'Follow my followers'. We all sin and make mistakes and do things that other people feel are not right or downright wrong. No matter how hard anyone tries, they will eventually fail. THIS is precisely the reason why Jesus gave up His life for all of us.... took the punishment that everyone who believes in Jesus and accepts the free gift of His death for them gets, and gets to keep forever. Because the deck was stacked against humans the minute Adam & Eve sinned (went against what God told them not to do) God, because He loves the humans He created, gave us a way out. He died for us. You can do this! Turn to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. He will set you free. Pray, and pray with conviction. Ask to receive conviction in the Holy Spirit, and it will be given to you. Repent, and ask to be set free from blinding, binding, and grinding confines of sin. Don't ever give up. You can't fight this battle alone, but with Jesus, He will have victory over your sin. I actually said Jesus when the question came. Lately, I have been trying to actually relate everything to Jesus and God in order for me to understand how much they have done for me ! If I don't relate to Christ I will relate to he world and compare my sin which leads to me thinking it's not that much and I will sin again. Putting myself in Jesus' shoe and understanding God's mercy and patience helps me evaluate my life and helps my faith a lot. Try this technique it really helps, to anyone struggling! God Bless Y'all

I was 5 years of chronic illness! I was Semi Housebound, lost my health, job, finances and my fiance left me. I’m lucky Jesus let me see before sin bonded me too tightly, he caught me right as I was about to fall. I listened to him and ran from it. @@aaronmeder4442 Before He was crucified, Jesus was scourged with a whip which had metal hooks on it (it was a fave of the Romans), and with each lash it would have removed chunks of flesh, Christ wasn't scourged once, but many times, on top of that the wicked men and maybe women, tore the beard from His face - not plucking it, but ripping chunks out, then they made a crown of thorns and these wouldn't have been tiny rose thorns, these would have been massive thorns and as they rammed it on His head - all of those thorns would have dug right into His flesh, setting His nerves ablaze with pain - it's bad enough having a rose thorn stuck in your finger, but imagine a lot of long thorns sticking in your head, blood gushing from the wounds, running into your eyes - that's what Jesus went through! He was stripped naked and humiliated, spat on, mocked. That was before the massive thick iron nails pierced His skin, severing His nerves, each nerve going crazy with the pain - that was in His hands and feet. Then as He hung there, His shoulders would have dislocated and each tendon and ligament screaming in agony, as He weakened He would not have been able to push Himself up and His lungs and heart cavities would have filled with fluid and He would have started to drown, coupled with the sweat, the heat of the day, the stench of the congealing blood and sweat, in the heat as it ran down His face and body and hit the ground! That was the physical element, then there is the spiritual element to this. The Father severed communication with His Son, because for a people to be saved, Jesus HAD TO suffer the same 'fate' as every human would have if God hadn't so loved the world. The sky went black, because God's wrath was poured out on His Son as He took on the sins of those He was dying for and as God is holy, He cannot look upon sin! As someone once said - God's wrath was burned up on Christ and sin was drowned in His blood! He was abandoned, not just by His disciples but by His Father in heaven because He took the punishment we deserved, so that ALL who call on His name and comes through Him will be saved. How to get tback.....I have done Horrible. Not Spiritually FightingSpiritually. And regret this because I was raised household...but feel things and temporary...flesh . Sins .grieved Him ...I totally. Regret taking Him for Granted and doing things my way and running to world ..it has torn me and broken me down.
The way back is to turn away from your sins and back to God. You need to pray for the strength of the Holy Spirit, and for the renewing of the mind. You will begin to see the change in your life as you repent and turn from fleshly and worldly desires, to spiritual and obedient desires. The change will not be instantaneous but requires repentance and prayer!
Christ opened my eyes 20 years ago and I've been a Christian ever since. I have struggled with sin for a long time and know with Jesus's help I can overcome it. You on the other hand are a continuous source of inspiration for me and this video really helped me! Last video I watched was also awesome and was about the two witnesses. This is a repost of my earlier comment: Jesus could avail Himself of a variety of strengths because He was the son of God. And, while Jesus was certainly the strongest spiritually...the Bible is very clear on the fact that He chose to walk among us in the frailty of human flesh. The concept which this video was trying to convey was that even though we can be undisputedly the strongest in a particular area. It will never be enough to make us invulnerable to temptation. That, indeed, Christ was the strongest where it mattered most: Spiritually. Even the best gifts of God, left in human hands, will not be enough. We must Place _ourselves_ into _God's_ hands. But, brothers & sisters even if you did find a technically wrong point in this message. Why choose to focus on that one speck, rather than the spiritually valid message as a whole? Was it done in the spirit of encouragement to help? Or, was it a way to feel the momentary pride of spiritual superiority?
I am from Kenya. You are teacher who delivers the word of God with humility and simplicity yet so convincing to anybody to follow Christ and get saved. You are doing a great job.

Sin is deadly, confining, unfulfilled, smothering, obsessive, fun at times, feels good at times, but it gets bitter and miserable. I had to get out of the situation. I had to passionately give myself to God.
When I think of MY sin, I think of Jesus on that cross paying for each sin I committed and will commit. My sin put Him there. It's a sobering realization that if I willfully sin, I am adding to His suffering. That is how I keep myself in check.

I was a 3, trying to break free in my own strength. As hard as I tried and even with little occasional wins over my sin I never felt completely free from the temptation . I always knew that I could possibly fall back into it at any moment. Finally one evening as. I was tempted once again to sin, I decided to share my pain with Jesus. I fell to my knees and cried out to him. I told him I had tried everything I knew of for the past 10 years to rid my life of this sin and if HE was watching over me (as I’d been taught) then HE would know how hard I had been trying. I prayed for quite some time and did not sin but went to bed. I didn’t experience anything noticeable that evening but upon awaking the next morning I had no desire to commit that sin that had been so much a part of my life for 10 years. That mindset has remained with me now for more than 20 years. I recall thinking about that sin only on a few occasions that first year but even then possessed no desire to take part in it. John 8:32 finally made sense to me. “Jesus said, And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Jesus is the truth....when we want to know him...when we choose to follow him...when we humble ourselves and truly give him our lives...he will make us free. He truly means it when he says in John 10:10 that he has come that we might have life, and that we might have it more abundantly.
Sister am 18 yr now.. Even I can't leave the sin.. I don't know wt to do with it.. I always sin again asking forgiveness again sining this became my routine...
You can fall in to this trip of sin accidentally. Broke my back and my hip. I was fed pain medication like candy for over a year. I became HEAVILY dependant on drugs, simply for being over prescribed. Years later I came across an ex co worker of mine completely strung out. I spoke to him and we started talking about dependency. 5 mins in to out conversation I felt like complete trash for judging him. I subconsciously had a higher opinion of myself over this addict. Listening to his story, about how he was injured and given pain medication, and ultimately become an addict broke my heart. 8/10 people I've spoken to about addiction have the same story.
My wife shared this with me today. I am an addict who has been freed for 10 years and foolishly returned to my vomit. I have a week days clean from heroin and still feel like the walking dead. However thanks to the truth shared by men and women like off the Kirb I get up and try again. I hope to be a portion of the man God wants me to be. And as long as I have breath I still have a chance.

the most important thing is to just make goals and teach yourself not to look lol.. honestly its not an overbite thing, and when u slip dont allow yourself to give up... what really helped me was I watched allot of testimonies of ex pornstars and stripers who God showed them the spirit realm and they saw all the demons that attach themselves to those who get caught up in that stuff..its actually scary, and porn is no different then a drug, you become possessed and the demons force you to shame yourself,.. it just takes allot of hard work but I suggest scaring yourself thats what worked for me.. once I learned that porn was pure satanic and that you're pretty much worshiping the Devil it scared me...learn to think of those poor girls as human beings who are being possessed to destroy and disgrace there body in order to cause others to worship satan...it seems so harmless but its heartbreaking and it is sooo destructive to everybody involved,
I also struggled with pornography for years but this year I got so sick of it and of myself. I knelt down and surrendered to Christ and He's completely taken away that desire to watch that filth. He will keep you safe and set you free, just surrender to Him sincerely.

@@phtito9877 I am praying for you. In my small group, of which I have been a co-leader for 30 years, we deal with men in your situation. We have 6-8 in our class right now. Over the last 10 years I have learned how possessive and difficult addiction can be for some. Our guys are like you; they have genuinely repented and are genuinely trying to follow Jesus, but still experience failure. The good news is that God loves you; He understands the fight you are in; and He is THE God of 2nd, 3rd, 4rth and many many more chances. I know this because I have experienced it.
We have guys who were in your situation and are now dealing with it well. You MUST get in a small group that is committed to Bible study and honest discussion about our struggles. You also will need to learn places you can no longer go and people you can no longer hang out with. But most of all, you must keep coming back to God. Also, try to find a rehab center that is Bible based. The secular plans may work for some, but they will never change your life like God can through His Word.

I know some people don’t believe in an age of accountability but I do and here’s why I say that. When I was 12 I was sitting on a pew passing notes back and forth with my sister. We were like 6-7 feet away from each other. My sister passed the note to me and it fell in the floor. When I was in the floor picking up the note I heard a voice in my mind that said, “If you walk out those doors and died today you’ll go to Hell.” 😳 It scared me! Really really scared me! I didn’t know what age of accountability was and don’t know if I’d ever even heard of that. But I know that I’d never heard any voices in my head before that day and I’ve never heard it again. Fast forward 33 years later I was 45 when I finally believed in Jesus and what He had done for me. When Jesus saved my soul He showed me things that I’d never ever seen before. The Holy Scriptures say to try the spirts (paraphrasing) so I would ask God to show what is the right. Paying and fasting will help and asking/talking with others about it might help as well. I will pray for you always. God Bless You.

But when after watching this video I'm literally in tears and humbled. I know He is always watching and waiting for me to come home to Him.

I am a father as well and understand your situation, the children today have unfortunately been indoctrinated at school. The have taken the lords prayer away, they are trying to erase the teachings of Father, lord and savior Yeshua. You have to awaken them slowly, show them and lead by example. They will slowly awaken, as you introduce them to the truth and miracles of light from Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. You can bring them to the light and tell them what what they need to do to receive the Lord and Savior. Repent and ask for forgiveness, he is a gracious God, he loves his children. He wants to save as many souls as possible. My daughter is 16 , I have been slowly working with her and she is starting to understand were the light comes from. At Christmas dinner just this year she bowed her head in prayer and said Amen all on her own, I was so happy and I mentioned it to my wife and we both smiled. That took 16years at which its never to late. There is always a glimmer of hope for our children, we just have to be patient don't push to hard and you will see the fruits of your labour. God never gives up on us and that is why he sent his son, the Father. 2020 was an eye-opener and the message from God through John the Baptist from the book of Revelations is unfolding at an alarming rate. Satans war against humanity is strong and the veil has been lifted. Christians are looked at as being persecuted as though we are the source of judgement and inequity.

Praying that God will give you the strength to overcome and give you absolute victory over whatever you are facing in Jesus' name. If you don't know what to say.. or can't find the words.. just start speaking the name of Jesus repeatedly. I do that a lot and it helps a bunch! There is absolute power in the name of Jesus! Living breathing testimony of it! My prayer to you is summed up in this one scripture: Romans 15:13

I started with drugs when I was 10, today I'm 23. The last 3 months have been a fight like no other, lost my love because of my sin. Lost friends because of my sin, I hurt my family with my addiction and my behaviour. The worst was knowing I did wrong but couldn't stop myself, my sins had me in shackles.
Now, last saturday was my low point and I felt God's anger on me and I was frightened. I have tossed myself at the ground to pray and he answered me. Today I'm fighting with these sins because I can no longer grieve the spirit, I feel the pain and it aches my heart! God bless you and please if you ever read this, take heed! If you live filthy you will become filth and God will have something to say about it. Please if you did as me and kept going even you know its wrong. Stop! The pain will become worse until you die and if that repentance isn't found you surely will be found sad and lonely.
Tomorrow is my day to say no, 6 months starting on this very next day I'll welcome my life as a sober man. Rehabilitation with Jesus is my only way out of this nightmare filled with wicked spirits.

It took a while, but then He did, although I believe He gently got me into reading the Bible and replaced the old desire with a NEW desire to know more about Him and His promises. He really does give us a new heart, mind, and desires. God's going to use your journey as a testimony to others who struggle with the same or other sins! Read Isaiah 61:3-- He's turned your ashes into beauty.......you are an oak of righteousness! He lives in you!

What do you mean Paul's blindness eclipsed Jesus? Paul did not take away the Light of the World, Jesus Christ. Please read Acts 9. Jesus caused Paul to become blind, then Jesus had Ananais heal him. Paul then could see that the Gospel was for Gentiles, too, not just the Jews, and God put it in Paul's heart, the desire to preach that to others. Scales fell from Paul's eyes, such as when we are drawn to Christ, He enables us to spiritually see that we all need Him as Saviour and Lord of our life. When you have the feeling (we call it intuition) that you should or should not do something, many times that is the Holy Spirit (God) talking to you. When something doesn't feel right and you can't put your finger on what is wrong, that is the the Holy Spirit warning or cautioning you. Example - I fell asleep driving one time late at night, alone in my car, sound asleep, and was crossing the entire freeway (4 lanes plus a shoulder lane) and heard the words "wake up'" loudly in my ear.... which woke me up to be able to slam on my breaks just before slamming into the rear of the horse trailer that was being pulled that I was getting ready to ram into, and was able to miss having that accident because of it. It was by about 12 inches that I missed it by. Ex. - I heard, once, in my head, as if someone was talking to me, "Turn around and go back". Again I was by myself. When I did what those words said, I was able to help a male that I finally saw that was back at the place where I first heard those words said to me as I went past that area. He was collapsed on the ground due to injury. Ex. - I had suddenly forgotten where I was going and Slowed Down as I was trying to remember where the heck I wanted to go as my mind had suddenly gone blank, (no, my memory is fine). 5 seconds later a car raced in front of me and slammed into a telephone pole to my right. Ambulances, paramedics had to be called for the driver who had lost control of his car. If I had kept going forward at the pace I had been going origionally, my body would have been totally decimated, torn, & broken and I would have been instantly killed as the car would have hit me square in the middle with its front. They estimated he was going 65 in a 20 zone when he crashed. I can feel the wind as it passed by and the roar of the engine.... still. Suddenly my memory came back and I knew where I was going but I was busy calling for help. These are just a handful of things that God has done for me throughout my life. Things like this have happened to many people, and I imagine that God has communicated to you even though you may not have recognized it. God's communication with us is usually at "whisper level' or feelings or the feeling that we need to do something we are not sure about and can't really explain. As far as money goes..... God only asked us to tithe (give 10% of our paychecks) back to the church that you go to or one you choose to drop the funds off at as a thank you to God for all that He has given to each of us. This is God's money. He doesn't need the money as He already owns it. He shares with each of us. He says basically.... 'I will give you this. Show me gratitude and trust by giving me back just a small portion of it in gratitude.' You, nor anyone, has to give more just because a church asks for it or an evangelist says you will get... (whatever they say.... fill in the blank here)... if you give them that money. Remember.... Friend.... Jesus (Son of God) said.... "Follow me." He Never said, 'Follow my followers'. We all sin and make mistakes and do things that other people feel are not right or downright wrong. No matter how hard anyone tries, they will eventually fail. THIS is precisely the reason why Jesus gave up His life for all of us.... took the punishment that everyone who believes in Jesus and accepts the free gift of His death for them gets, and gets to keep forever. Because the deck was stacked against humans the minute Adam & Eve sinned (went against what God told them not to do) God, because He loves the humans He created, gave us a way out. He died for us. I actually said Jesus when the question came. Lately, I have been trying to actually relate everything to Jesus and God in order for me to understand how much they have done for me ! He was stripped naked and humiliated, spat on, mocked. That was before the massive thick iron nails pierced His skin, severing His nerves, each nerve going crazy with the pain - that was in His hands and feet. Then as He hung there, His shoulders would have dislocated and each tendon and ligament screaming in agony, as He weakened He would not have been able to push Himself up and His lungs and heart cavities would have filled with fluid and He would have started to drown, coupled with the sweat, the heat of the day, the stench of the congealing blood and sweat, in the heat as it ran down His face and body and hit the ground!
That was the physical element, then there is the spiritual element to this. The Father severed communication with His Son, because for a people to be saved, Jesus HAD TO suffer the same 'fate' as every human would have if God hadn't so loved the world. The sky went black, because God's wrath was poured out on His Son as He took on the sins of those He was dying for and as God is holy, He cannot look upon sin! As someone once said - God's wrath was burned up on Christ and sin was drowned in His blood!
He was abandoned, not just by His disciples but by His Father in heaven because He took the punishment we deserved, so that ALL who call on His name and comes through Him will be saved. No other way is good enough!

The concept which this video was trying to convey was that even though we can be undisputedly the strongest in a particular area. It will never be enough to make us invulnerable to temptation. That, indeed, Christ was the strongest where it mattered most: Spiritually.
Even the best gifts of God, left in human hands, will not be enough. We must Place _ourselves_ into _God's_ hands. But, brothers & sisters even if you did find a technically wrong point in this message. Why choose to focus on that one speck, rather than the spiritually valid message as a whole? Was it done in the spirit of encouragement to help? Or, was it a way to feel the momentary pride of spiritual superiority?

God has saved me, I was 3, trapped in sin, but He Set me free!
I was a 3, trying to break free in my own strength. As hard as I tried and even with little occasional wins over my sin I never felt completely free from the temptation . I always knew that I could possibly fall back into it at any moment. Finally one evening as. I was tempted once again to sin, I decided to share my pain with Jesus. I fell to my knees and cried out to him. I told him I had tried everything I knew of for the past 10 years to rid my life of this sin and if HE was watching over me (as I’d been taught) then HE would know how hard I had been trying. I prayed for quite some time and did not sin but went to bed. I didn’t experience anything noticeable that evening but upon awaking the next morning I had no desire to commit that sin that had been so much a part of my life for 10 years. That mindset has remained with me now for more than 20 years. I recall thinking about that sin only on a few occasions that first year but even then possessed no desire to take part in it. John 8:32 finally made sense to me. “Jesus said, And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Jesus is the truth....when we want to know him...when we choose to follow him...when we humble ourselves and truly give him our lives...he will make us free. He truly means it when he says in John 10:10 that he has come that we might have life, and that we might have it more abundantly.
Sister am 18 yr now.. Even I can't leave the sin.. I don't know wt to do with it.. I always sin again asking forgiveness again sining this became my routine...
You can fall in to this trip of sin accidentally. Broke my back and my hip. I was fed pain medication like candy for over a year. I became HEAVILY dependant on drugs, simply for being over prescribed. Years later I came across an ex co worker of mine completely strung out. I spoke to him and we started talking about dependency. 5 mins in to out conversation I felt like complete trash for judging him. I subconsciously had a higher opinion of myself over this addict. Listening to his story, about how he was injured and given pain medication, and ultimately become an addict broke my heart. 8/10 people I've spoken to about addiction have the same story.
This is the incorruptible message of the love of God to all of us
My wife shared this with me today. I am an addict who has been freed for 10 years and foolishly returned to my vomit. I have a week days clean from heroin and still feel like the walking dead. However thanks to the truth shared by men and women like off the Kirb I get up and try again. I hope to be a portion of the man God wants me to be. And as long as I have breath I still have a chance.
