Love the design; functional, simple great work. I couldn’t tell from, the video but did you just drill holes in the pvc pipe for the spray onto the towel?
What size pvc pipe is used on the arms (1 1/2”?)and how long are the arms on either side (12”?)with the towel around. What size are the holes drilled into the pvc to let out water? This looks amazing!
All of the pvc is 3/4" diameter. Arms are 16" long. Towel is wrapped around a 2 x 2. Hanging from the pvc with conduit brackets. Holes are 2" apart. 7/32 dia.
The rink is 24' by 60' and I fill it about 3/4 full will cover all of it. I use hot water and only flood when it's -10c (14f) or colder. We used to just use the hose but if you put it to thick in the really cold it would create shell ice. I have a video of how I assembled it coming soon just editing.
Love to see your video on building it. Mic upgrade or not! Or if it's really bad sound you can just do voice over? Great idea and video here, you got some really nice ice.
I am going to put together an assembly video later this fall when I put it back together. Subscribe for a reminder when that comes out... its all pvc pipe from hardware store no special parts.
That is so relaxing....instant glassy ice. First time rinkboss with our 24x46 rink....gonna give this a try!
Thats close to near Perfect!!
Your in Edmonton? Looked at your other videos and saw the rooftop camp out in Edmonton
So awesome !!

Yes the holes are every 4 inchs and roughly 3/16 Dia.
4:16 No, my friend, that is perfect.
Awesome brother!
This is great, Thanks. Is that a towel or a piece of canvas attached at the bottom?
Bath towel.
What size is your rink. Looks like you can resurface with 3/4 of the barrel filled with water? Correct?
Brilliant
Ah! What I wouldn't give....

that is so cool
Ya!
hello, i love the idea! but i had to ask, how big is your rink?
The rink is 24' by 60'
How big was the rink and how much do you need to fill the bucket without having too much or too little water?

@@Spectrumsport Looking forward to the assembly video, this is great!
@@brentonchamberland4380 its coming I swear... needed a mic upgrade in the editing dept.

Amazing
Thanks and stay tuned. We had a mishap in the garage and I have to rebuild the pipe assembly... video to come!
Do you always take those extra laps with the leftover water. I’d be afraid you’d get high spots if you didn’t have enough to do the whole rink twice
Yes... just using up the left over water. Its only adding an 1/8 of an inch at most usually less depending on flow but we haven't notice it.
how did you make this??

@@FinaLxIcon got a little side tracked I filmed it but never edited it. I will be better I promise.
