Better use Mizo then Kuki as for my own experience and understanding Mizo term got more respected by other tribes of northeast India. More over Mizo is not only for lushai tribe it is for all the Zo sub tribes around the world. And for all the zo tribes we got our own beautiful state called Mizoram. So I requested every zofate to use Mizo at the end of your particular tribe name same as Naga tribes do. Due to our selfish and ignorance kuki was split,Even our own Eimi tribe(Paite,Zou,Gangte,Vaiphei etc) don't accept Kuki,Vaiphei and Gangte who accept Kuki are the one who speak Thadou kuki as their first language the best part is most of the successfull Gangte and Vaiphei are kuki speaking 😅
We don't accept kuki because it was given the kuki name by others, due to the newly named of our community as kuki, halam,chin etc... We actually forgot what we were called at the beginning,we just picked anything whatever other people called us. As our tribe,we called ourselves as Rem/Riem/Riam ,this is the name given for our community along long time ago and we don't want to leave it. Before independence even the Britishers called us kukis and even my grandfather who fought in the 2nd world war , after his name was given kuki example: doipa kuki , but lastly it was changed after independence, we r not selfish nor ignorant but we just don't want to accept the community name given by who doesn't know all the history, they are not foolish (the British)but they couldn't get all the information all they want because we were not that educated,at that time if there were smart and educated people among us there will be no one accepting that kuki name
Anal, lamkang and others tribes from chandel doesn't belongs to kuki.. Their culture, customary and language were much different from each other... And lastly don't spoil others identy for your benifit

That's not true. Mara (Lakher) people also has many uncommon languages which may be seen as unconnected to Zo languages, but they are zo. Same for Maring, they are quite similar to Lai (Pawi) tribes of Mizo -Chin. Even their languages are somehow related to some another Lai tribes of Thantlang and Halkha. One tribe has different languages related to each other through poetic phonology, for example the poetic word for Sky in Lusei (Standard Mizo) is "Thangvan" and Maring use this as a common word for "Sky".

Same for Maring, they are quite similar to Lai (Pawi) tribes of Mizo -Chin. Even their languages are somehow related to some another Lai tribes of Thantlang and Halkha. One tribe has different languages related to each other through poetic phonology, for example the poetic word for Sky in Lusei (Standard Mizo) is "Thangvan" and Maring use this as a common word for "Sky".

I'm exhausted from seeing some of our people still trying to include certain tribes, like the Anal, Lamka, Chiru, and Kom, as part of our community. They have made it clear that they identify as Naga and do not want to be recognized as our brothers. Let's respect their choice and allow them to forge their own path. Their mentality and political views are already far away from us.
Actually we don't need them, we are more than enough. However, we welcome those individuals from the Kom,Aimol, Chiru tribes who are willing to acknowledge and accept us as their brothers but we will only accept them individually, not the entire tribes.
