    Hello . the program i use is aspire 9.5. I have to make a recess (with a large roughing cutter) then finish it with a V-shaped cutter which will dig into the narrowest parts where the other (large) cutter cannot enter. Question: How can I set the gcode so that the V-shaped cutter only passes where it is to be milled and not in the empty spaces where the large cutter has previously milled? as with the small cutter the axes move very slowly; I do this to save time.

    Great video. I’m a new subscriber. It would be very helpful if you actually carved the wall art on your CNC and showed the actual result.

    Roger, you showed me what I am looking for in the finished product! I want to turn a photo into a relief to be carved. Is Aspire the only one of the Carveco products that I can do this?

      No, Carveco Maker and Maker + will do this.

    Hello!
    Any help on creating bitmaps?
    I currently have photoshop and when I attempt to save an image as bmp and upload into Aspire, the quality is extremely grainy and "pixeley".

    Hi Roger, we are beginners in wood carving. We use Vectric Aspire 9.5 and Open Build Black box Control with Open Build CNC - recently we tried to 3D carve a football team logo, which was 250mm high by 200 mm wide and it took too long for the CNC to carve the logo - approx 10 hours. Could you please help us and tell us what settings we have to adjust to speed up the process? We used Engrave (20' 0.5 mm Tip Dia). Thanks in advance.

      That's a very fine tip. Maybe try a larger radius tapered bit or even a standard ball nose.

    A question please : How do you set max carve depth ? - on that 3d finish

    • @rogerwebbchannel2cncsandmo997
      @rogerwebbchannel2cncsandmo997  3 года назад

      You can do this when you set up the tool path strategy ( max depth of tool per pass) in the tool setting wizard.
