Hum, if you are "trying a new role" then it means you are not a high experimented player, then you should give it another try, the game becomes really more fun when you reach a certain level.
Wish smite was good, but unfortunately, it's not. Ranked is just bad, and I mean horribly bad. There's no competition cause there's not enough player base to match games fairly, and if you get stuck with crap players, it just makes the whole experience suck and not want to play.
