I've been waiting for this since I first heard that snippet on IG. I then listened to Sinking Feeling! Both songs are perfection, especially as they are coming from such a new artist. Intelligent lyrics, great melodies, well-crafted songwriting. I've been a musician myself for a very long time, I think I recognize a great budding artist when I see her. And you are one.

Omg ive been obsessed with the beginning part since i saw it on insta a while back, but when i saw the whole song was out I got kinda scared. I didn't want the snippet i love to be ruined by a shitty song, but boy was i wrong. The whole song was freaking fire!!! Can't wait to listen to this on repeat while doing daily tasks

I can easily say 70 of these plays are mine. The mix is fantastic, and that chorus really is an earworm. Call me fan from this point forward.
As a musician, producer, and mixing engineer myself - I applaud you and the work your team did on this. It really has some good songwriting twists and turns, and everytime that chorus hits, I find myself bopping my head and humming along whilst tapping my feet.
The middle 8 is really surprising as it gets into a dark indie pop-rock thing where the guitars sound like synths and the aggression comes strictly from the wordless transition into the final chorus that drops, slams and kicks my ass every single time.
I knew this would be good the first time I heard the first verse in a snippet on IG and the best part? This is my new fav genre of music. Keep on making my ears smile.

Tonnes of potential, the first verse is really strong, the chorus has some good elements but needs work. Overall the production is not great, it needs a professional engineer to record it and better mixing and mastering, as the song gets louder sonically things start to sound cluttered. The arrangement is also a little disjointed, in fact the whole thing could be simplified around the two verses and elements of the chorus. You’ve got tonnes of talent and star quality but need a producer and engineer to record you and help with the arrangement, mixing and recording . Don’t take this the wrong way I love the song and understand it’s very hard to get music sounding professional unless you spend money so it’s definitely something to be proud of from a song writing and performance point of view.
it sounds great on studio earphones, layering is unusual but pretty nice, the overlap is part of the vibe I guess, it sounds perfect to me, with a cleaner mastering it wouldn't sound as cool I guess, or maybe it would be amazing but comon. is their first release, sounds amazing and it's a great song.
To start with, she has a producer/engineer that she worked with who has done a bunch of other good stuff with other artists, and your opinion of the sound is just an opinion and not one shared by many other music professionals who have praised it. Then about the song structure - it's going slightly against the grain in its originality, and it's honest and non-conformist. People are loving the song, including the more unique traits. You seem to be making out it should be cut down and sanitized into a conformist product, which is the opposite of what the heart of this music is all about, including the song's theme itself. So all in all, here's one music producer that couldn't disagree with you more.
