his greatest work ever ... and one of the best scores of all time
Replace “one of” with the best. THE best of all time.
The best score ever, by quite a margin

It had a theme for everything and it was perfect
100%. The score of Lotr is 10/10... so good. And so fitting.
Greatest score of all time, no question
Life changing. The sound made the movies more alive. It is beautiful.
I had the honor of watching him conduct his LOTR Symphony years back. They showed concept art as they played, it was such a cool experience.
The films wouldn't have been as good without the score, tremendous work.
Wish i could thank him, the music in the lord of the rings brigns me amazing feeling
Such a brilliant composer. Blessings!
Tolkien, Peter Jackson, and Howard Shore are my holy trinity
We remember lord of the rings through his music
I will always be grateful for this man.
The perfect musical creation that guides the viewer through a fantastical world resulting in sheer joy, it truly is the epitome of perfection and The pinnacle of film scoring!
The absolute greatest film score of all time. I love the movies and I can just listen to Howard's work without Peter's movies and it still make me transport to middle earth immediately.
Literally amazing music that guides you through each chapter and character's vignette in each scene. So elegant and perfect, the choir is just tremendous for the atmosphere of the film.
IMO it’s the greatest soundtrack of all time.

Love Him for his works... :)
Best film score ever
When I watch lord of the rings I always wonder if the intense love I feel is because of the movie amplifying the music or the other way around. I think it is both
Love it
