I love your stories about student teaching and your early days in the career. Keep them coming! You can't given them paper, that's like gold!

Mr. Nichols, thanks for the invitation. Love these virtual field trips. I have a chalkboard and dry-erase boards in my house to make notes, keep track of chores, etc. Hated learning cursive in elementary, but enjoyed learning calligraphy later. Adapted my script throughout the years so it truly feels like my writing instead of someone else's system.

I always loved your "walk and talk" vlogs. Fun.
I was an English teacher. I retired early to get away from parents and administrators! I wish that I had had a principal with your personality!

Y’all are so blessed to live in such a beautiful area. I enjoyed this video the most of any of yours I’ve watched simply because of all the nature, the beautiful views and the conversation. I enjoy all your videos but this one just stood out. Of course I also love to listen to your stories about when you taught. You’re just a wonderful person who can easily captivate people’s attention. I believe I’d have been a much better student if I’d had teachers like you. I’m really looking forward to you going back to this place and more stories about your teaching experiences.

Good stuff Chris. Keeping a regular body weight has always been a struggle with me too. Spot on with teachers supply. I remember what a privilege it was to clean the chalkboard and erasers at the end of the day for the teacher. I probably still have chalk dust in my body.

I really enjoyed the tour of the park and the insights of a teacher who really taught school the way I remember being shown. Until the next time ❤.
