- This is how to pack and load a moving truck.
please visit our website at www.franksworldwidemoving.com
We generally wait to wrap items on the truck to save time and the customer money. The way shown below is how we most often load a truck. Wrapping furniture inside the home takes a lot longer, and makes the item more difficult to hold onto. Some items will be wrapped inside the house before loading on the truck. They are wrapped inside because of a special request or because of how awkward they are to move through doorways. Our trained movers are able to judge which method is the best. In the end we do whatever the customer prefers. Хобби
These folks helped me move into my new condo and they were Remarkable! Quick, productive, and helped pack up my waiting things I couldn't locate a home for in boxes. They were all that I required and that's just the beginning. Profoundly suggest!
One of the best moving instructional videos on RUclips
Unwrapped stool up top with brooms; scratched. Two blue wooden chairs stacked onto each other and a pad thrown over; scratched. Wooden bed (and crib?) parts placed one on top of the other with no padding in between and the side rail up against the wall with no pad; scrached. Wrap your chairs before stacking into the load. This vid makes me feel better about my loading skills. And I've only been at this for a year.
duumas I was wondering if someone was gonna point all of that out. So much wood and chowder left unpadded.
Pro movers pad the furniture before it goes on the truck unless you like paying claims. Thought he did a decent job loading but shit needs to be padded properly before going io the ramp.
Lol you wait till your’v been doing it years your’ll start to careless and take short cuts lol
Lol wouldn’t want my mattress on pads.. they are the dirtiest things ever.. imagine how many big fat removals have sweeted all over them.. they’ve been wrapped around lawn mowers trash cans ect....these guys need to learn how to pad wrap items before placing into the load!!
@@robertswantee2857 not necessarily true. Nothing wrong with padding on the truck? Put a pad down on chair, then place chair on chair, ect. You can pad on truck and doesnt necessarily need to be wrapped
Thank you so much for this great video!!! You guys did an amazing job! True professionals!
Frank Moving's members are skilled and experienced. That's how it should be.
This is a good video that demonstrates the importance of loading a truck in sections from bottom to top.. These guys must specialize in long distance moves, because the way they are loading the truck is to prevent items from shifting during the drive.. Some of the people who replied to the post posing as pros must only have local moving experience, or did moving jobs on the side.. As the owner of two moving companies I would proudly endorse loading a truck this way.
Wrong, all long distance movers that I know, including myself pad all furniture inside of house. There is no excuse, unless you're doing a local job. I don't want any furniture brought into truck that's not padded.
Great tips for Packing a Moving Truck the Right Way!
Am not even Canadian, but man I love this show! Also so many of these need to be disscussed in America too.
Love this organization will utilize them in the future for all my future moves! Laborers were perfect and everything was finished as quickly as possibly!
Fantastically all-around capable help. Reasonable charges no damages to everything aside from piano was phenomenally enormous in size and very huge.
Wow, this 'Packs A Moving Truck' video is a lifesaver for anyone gearing up for a move! The step-by-step guide and practical tips make the packing process seem so much more manageable. I appreciate the attention to detail and the clear explanations. It's evident that the team at [channel name] knows their stuff when it comes to efficient and organized moving. This video is a must-watch for anyone in the midst of planning a move. Thanks for sharing these valuable insights!"
Some people will love it. Some people will hate it. It's just the way of the world but I myself found this video helpful. I'm sure anyone can take at least one good thing from the video if nothing more than just be "prepared" with all of the required tools for the trade. Thumbs Up.
+Baltimore B I agree with you
An excellent idea to wrap all furniture items to save these from scratch and saving time while unpacking.Great job
I would also like to know why they didn't wrap the couch before bringing that out; but as you can see some items were wrapped before entering the truck
this is coming from a third generation mover! to you pro's out there have some pride in what you do remember treat the customers item's like if they we're yours, taking extra care of people's stuff like wrapping inside the house instead of inside the truck makes a difference specially when our job is to try to make there move as easy and stress less as possible.
definitely; it helps prevent dings on walls & furniture
Not all movers work the same way notwithstanding there are different reasons for wrapping things at different times and places.
In all cases wrapping is to protect the furniture it is extremely rare in which the movement of unwrapped furniture results in a wall or door ding but sometimes it does so it would seem that the best way is to wrap it first before leaving the room.
However if you have a lot of furniture in very little room in the truck the best method is to wrap it inside the truck because the guy packing the truck really has to know what all of the items are. Just because something is shaped a certain way doesn't tell you how dense, heavy, flexible, stackable, fragile, or prone to pressure it might be.
When you have a lot of room in the truck you have a larger margin to work with.
I see packing whether it's a truck or box as an art that varies from artist to artist and is heavily reliant on the tools at his or her disposal.
I look forward to seeing your videos.
using each and every space in the truck, looks great
I loathe moving too, but at the same time I get really anxious and excited to go explore the new beginning at the new hood. I think once all the packing, organizing, storage and finally unloading, are all too troublesome. However, all that hard work will definitely pay off once everyone has started settling in at the new house.
All modern appliances are there. Very good quality service provider.
. I would prescribed this organization to anybody hoping to move short or long distance. They are the best!!
Thank you for posting this.
I give it a B+. I wouldn't of floor stacked boxes unless I had to. Also I would of not stacked base, and I would of put all my flat in at the same time.
always tip your movers! ;)
:)
Love your packing video! Your tips are super helpful and make the whole process look so organized and efficient. Definitely going to use some of these ideas for my next trip. Thanks for sharing!"
Hats off to this operation!
Extremely spotless and supportive in the set up . Estimating was superior to 3 different statements.
Tidy, eye-catching work
these guys are great
A very nice moving support truck
Saw the whole video, really nice
This dude is a rockstar and his team is great too. Maybe I would have used a few more pads, but nothing is getting damaged on this load. Well done! His team also keeps feeding him the stuff he needs when he needs it without overwhelming him with clutter in the truck.
Other than using a few more pads I think this is a great example of a load out.
This was a great method, far superior to many I've seen on FB and tried....with the exception of loose/unsecured things up on top. If they're fragile, they need secured. Period.
Did you see anything that you consider to be fragile?
My guess is whatever is fragile was appropriately marked and properly placed.
As you can see the truck was stacked in such a way they gave very little room for things to move.
Nice pack job!
@princessnc - A real mover knows carrying furniture that was wrapped inside the house can be nearly impossible to grip and very time consuming. A real mover knows all of the carrying techniques. A customer will know they are doing a great job by the way they work and present themselves.
Thanks for sharing
The best technique to Packs A Moving Truck
Good job
Would have liked to see the job all the way to the end
Thank you so much, not only for the video, but for the comments.
All Canada moving makes us put the flat screen t.v.'s between the mattresses then strap them in, we also have to pad everything before we come out of the house with it...we also never load the mattresses sideways like in this video.
Seems like a reputable moving service. All modern appliances are there. Very good quality service provider.
Nice Video
i think they did an excellent job.
+Carol P Yes, I think so!
Haters hating. They did great. Obviously a speed move with lower quality furniture and mismatched boxes and containers. Not a white glove move. I doubt anything broke on this pack. It was really tight and appropriate to the job.
nice video❤❤❤
Super neat.
I look at this and think. This would make a wonderful home, the attic could hold a sleeping area. You can install a shelf above that and store goods, You can also put shelf's on the sides and cut a hole on the top for a wood stove pipe. This place could be one of the best portable homes. Just gotta use it right.
❤❤❤
All types of advanced equipment for moving services are stocked here. All appliances are modern.
The way this truck is being loaded is the proper way to load a moving truck, while a lot of inexpierenced people load a do it yourself moving van just put their stuff where ever in the box of the truck
In regards to all of the so called relocation specialist who do not pad in the house or believe that it is a waste of time: Padding the furniture properly is as much as skill as moving the furniture. Pad wrapping furniture in the house not only prevents damage but it also comforts the customer. Furniture should never see the elements nor should it be covered in sweat. As a relocation specialist I suggest that all movers pad wrap as much of the shipment in doors as possible. PADS PADS PADS!
Really helpful. Now I don't need to hire you as I can do it myself. Happy Easter. More eggs for me !
It seems regardless of the craft industry or profession, professionals and the experts make tough jobs look easy
a good mover knows how to move things without damaging them without it being wrapped until it gets to the truck. not very hard to do if you know what your doing
Wonderful to see any Video! Congrats about Move. A person household an individual developed appeared amazing I hope the idea went to a great family:
I agree with mfkcx, some customers just look at the clock and complain how long things are going to take, I'm a conscientious wrapper. Some things you should wrap no matter what. Dark nice ramour flanningan stuff should get wrapped. Ikea stuff, probably not so much. Its also great when you have one of those handy-dandy couch covers. Nice pack.
@princessnc Wrong! Real good movers wont need to pad everything in the house. Because they will use buckle straps to carry big heavy items for control and wont touch a thing going out! I know because I was in the business for over 15 years and a driver for 10 of those years doing household & pianos...
chowder, chowder everywhere. drape all day. pre-emptive straps. certified movers.
It sounds like you know what you're talkin about could you reiterate and elaborate please
moving is life
Professional packers.
Being a mover myself. I would never bring a piece of furniture out of the house not padded. I would never just throw a pad over a piece of furniture. This is ok I guess for a rookie mover.
I do a lot of moving research and I found that there are reasons for doing different things and sometimes it's a matter of good, better, or best
But looking at the totality of the video it is plainly evident that their tenure is well beyond rookie.
Nevertheless I too would like to know why they chose not to wrap the couches inside the home
mover with 8 years experience here. IMHO... Wrapping furniture in house is usually just a time waster. If you are going to stretch wrap the furniture, with pads underneath, is ok, but not necessary. Generally movers who tape pads on, or pad inside the house, are just tacking on hours to get a bigger check. This guy loads a truck correctly, unfortunately, 95% of "movers" don't load like this. Btw, we have 3 claims in my 10 years of service, (all three were pieces of glass) and do 600+ moves/yr
Good video, I'll be moving soon. I would have deflated the exercise ball (my move is by the foot).
People have TOO MUCH STUFF
Honestly some of the stuff should have been moved in a car by the customer not in a truck by Movers
And end up taking muilty trips, me my "in" dad worked for Covan Worldwide moving, Inc and boy does my family and mostly me know how to load any size moving van.
bull.. one should rap in the house to asure the cust. he was wondering why he never got a tip..but to each his own...lol
Great web site! Many thanks for giving this site! Exactly how make it could possibly ough supply us many suggestion really we in addition need to make a new web site nevertheless don't have a any kind of basic notion. Many thanks
Yep?
Hard games!
Bet he's good at Tetris.
This guy Ian just trying to do it my way he knows it's the best
What size truck is this?
I have been a mover for 25 years now' I mostly work for line drivers i meet them at the residents. All drivers are different some pad everything in the house and some pad in the truck' I do se your point about pading in the house keeps the sweat off items also the customer would feel safer and ofcourse less damage if any' But myself i would rather pad in the truck sometimes you have to admit its a bitch carry tripples down the stairs pading along with other items.
its called a kick but if your reading it off a u-haul truck thats cool too i guess
No disrespect . Cool 😎 video. But I wouldn't stack the mattresses on the floor 😂 each to there own, love n light
because when u pad in the house u dont have proper grip of the item e.g u wrap a couch up with pads in a house then u have to manouvre the couch through doorways it slowly loosens up on the item and no grip resulting in damaged furniture or damaged walls etc
you guys are friggin jokesters. theres a 300- 400 lbs weight rating on the attic and if those couches shift, bam all those boxes and everything below are destroyed. boxes in the attic and in front of it then mattresses to hold them in place
People always complain about everything and think they know how to do it better but if we taped then packing then youd have everybdoy shitting on them for wbat they're doing. He made some clear mistakes but it was a decent pack. Not great but okay. Nothing was broken or damaged I bet. It depends on what kind of material, the color of it honestly, and ect. Darker wood has to be treated more carefully imo because it will show every thing that scratches it. It's like a black car
@jjbhoopsFTW spot on!
That Driver is packing his truck how it should be. In tiers and strapped off about half way back with his E-track logistics straps..

How come you don't pad in the house
a real mover pad up in the house, so the cust sees you are takeing care of their stuff
You do not have to do all the job. With excellent moving services and trusted company, Moving is smooth and a piece of cake. MooVooz-hire movers instantly fix up your worries and indulge you with different moving services in town.
Huh? What?
what about the dining room table and chairs that dont come apart?!
What dining room table doesn't come apart? Nevertheless you can wrap the table and wrap the individual chairs -- the chairs should be placed towards the top of the truck and the table depending on it's material makeup (glass, wood, mix), shape and weight would be placed in different areas of the truck.
If the table is on a pedestal you really should disconnect the top from the bottom
what size truck was this truck?
26' or 28'
Robert Horsfield they don’t make 28 ft box trucks moron. 24 or 26
@@CCCP1968 listen here fuck face, he was off by 2 fucking feet holy fuck its the end of the world. Get over yourself dude lmao you dont know everything
LOL!
He did fine but he didnt load anything crazy. No pianos, pipe organ, 8 ft tall metal wine shelf but then again few people own those things ha ha. And few folk load trucks with only furniture like movers see in the winter. And, since when can you not stack on a grill? If you know its load bearing capacity then you can figure it out. That is an if though ha ha
The reason most movers don't pad everything in the house is usually the because the owner of the moving company will bitch you out for taking too long since they low bid the estimate to get the job and then are backed into cutting corner at the site...LIKE TAKING THE TIME TO PAD EVERYTHING INDOORS. Secondarily, IT DOES make things harder to carry, an idiot could discern that. Harder to carry = EASIER TO DROP, there's where your claims come in. Also, cheapo day laborer summer help = claims.
good at loading a tier very bad at wrapping ALWAYS wrap all furniture in the house
OK but if you look at what he is doing half of the items are not padded id fire this crew
and it should be padded before it comes out of the house
c at best. who are you showing how to load a truck????? what rental truck is going to have a attic that big?? not many moving companies have box trucks with attics that big. why stack base to soon into load?? not bad, but the packing could use some work.
loader is awesome the helpers suck didn't even wrap his stick
If you look at the video again you will notice that some things are purposefully wrapped in the truck some things are wrapped before they arrive to the truck and some things are just simply covered in the truck I think this is primarily by Design not by unforeseen circumstances
there was LOTS that wasnt wrapped!
Not everything needs to be wrapped.
I thought I saw him wrap a box that took me for a little Loop but I'm sure there's a reason for it
Don't put furniture on furniture unless you have to!
I see A lot of claims here
Guy loading build nice tiers but rules of the industry pad the furniture in the house!/ wsrehouse. Stacked chairs not. Padded? Looks likes Franks has paid its share fair of claims.
By the looks of the furniture and other factors I'm guessing the fee for this particular move probably runs at the lower middle range of the moving fee spectrum.
You will find that as the fee range decreases so too does the claims. People want to get what they pay for if you give them more than what they pay for they usually appreciate it if you give them less than what they pay for they usually don't appreciate it.
❤😢🎉😂
I checked a lot of handbooks with woodworking plans. Instructions from woodprix are the best I think.
Gotta love the occasional spam
Why would you make a video showing the incompetence of your employees?
ohhh, im disappointed I thought I was going to see a load of people trying to throw stuff in a truck while it drove past. Ahh well
first off you guys put on the attic what seemed to be a leather sofa and just draped it! thats kinda lazy if your going to do it right wrap everything from bottom to top with out leaving nothing exposed, and i saw him pot a wooden footstool on top with out being wrapped, tha'ts a big no no metal and wood don't go well,oh and real pro's wrap everything before leaving the house,if its about saving money and time your better off with these guys.
its obviously a local. thats kids furniture its already scratched.
Taking furniture out of the house naked is NOT PRO. Apparently thats Nick and chips moving and they are doing a bang up job!! Unpadded stool for sure top load! And investing in bands is not qorth it i guess! Just use a case of tape on everything. This is a fucking joke.
you load a truck you pack a box that’s the first thing ... and ya you should pad and shrink wrap before moving any piece of furniture if you don’t your just lazy, unprofessional and asking for a claim .... and for the guys who say they have years and years of experience moving furniture and don’t need to pad furniture before moving it well ... you have been doing it wrong for years and years
Couldn't of been any worse. Totally wrong
This Company is dirty every furniture scrached no pads
This is all bad
not a very good job. - from an experienced mover
