I love his curl on his forehead, he is very dashing
Tom's hair is sexy, and he has wonderful bone structure. Jenna has the dimples, and the big brown eyes. They make an adorable couple.

@@carolynargabright8132 I've always thought he has perfect bone structure, too. With their looks they would have the cutest kids. The only thing I find unattractive about them is that they both smoke. But, still love them together.
@MsAquablue that's why my favourite episodes are when both brothers are together. But, that was true about Ernst having syphilis. He never had children with his wife so he probably gave it to her. David Oakes said that he's never done anything as bad as his characters have!

I love and adore Victoria show!! It is one of favorite shows!!! Every episode is beautifully directed, engaging thought-proving edutaining dialogue with a strong cast especially with the charming Jenna and Tom! Their chemistry is authentic and amazing!! I really love watching them in action. This show is a true blessing!!!

Jeneva1 i agree :). Though I do find myself over thinking that fact lol. Because the real couple were more “plain” for a lack of a better word I do understand the thinking of the casting choices. We as viewers probably find it more pleasant ? Lol to see more attractive love interests I don’t know how I feel about that lol so I just enjoy these wonderful actors :)
@@AMYV3: From what I've seen in various drawings & depictions of the time, Albert was very handsome & dashing, whereas Victoria was plain, in fact, not very pretty.

Young Victoria had a painting done for Albert showing her hair hanging loosely draped around her shoulder, I've seen the pic & she. just as both Albert & Victoria saw eachother as most pleasant looking, just as Brad Pit played Achilles in Troy of which no one would come close to Brad Pits looks bk then, we have to percieve them as we percieve attractive ppl now in contemporary times, so they thought they were as what we think with the two actors playing them, but for sure young Victoria was not plain, only after dear Alberts death did she really begin to lose it, she couldn't cope without him & being constantly sad which didn't help her being dressed in black aways & in constant misery for all her life without Albert & eating more, as women often do when deppressed, but while they were young they both looked attractive. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder & ppl beheld an attractive couple then as we do today, so to see either one as we do now we have to use contemorary attractive looking ppl playing them, It's very wrong to call Victoria plain, you're thinking of older Victoria not in her late teens 20s & 30s.
@@D_Marrenalv I think he was handsome, too. I saw a sketch of Albert's profile (that may have been done by Q.V. herself) and Tom's also side by side and they resembled so much.

I think what is most captivating is they were real people and a lot of real history is portrayed. Compared to Jane Austen, which is wonderful, but fiction.
The real history on Victoria & Albert was interesting, most of the stuff on thm in the series was fictional done for dramatic purpose
Yes, when I'm watching I wonder if something really happened or if someone really existed, so I look it up. I'm American, so I don't know much about British history and culture, despite having visited and watching Are You Being Served. So I'm starting to understand how the monarchy works. It's fascinating they used to have servant balls. I'd never heard of that from reading/watching Jane Austen. :)

Nope, because I think Japanese manga and anime is shit.
They've ruined classic cartoons.
What I did think of was:
1 - The 1988 TV series by *ITV* called *Jack the Ripper* where *Michael Caine* played the Jack.
2 - The 2009-2013 TV series by *ITV* called *Whitechapel* as Whitechapel is where Jack committed his murders, and is a loosely based modern adaption of the murders.
3 - The 2012-2016 TV series by the *BBC* which again is loosely based on the Jack the Ripper murders in Whitechapel.
4 - The 2017-present TV series by the *BBC* called *Taboo* which was partly inspired by Jack the Ripper.
5 - And finally *Peter Sutcliffe* aka *The Yorkshire Ripper* who was born and lived in my city. He killed or attempted to kill a few people within a mile of me.
