Heading down to clearwater for the first couple of days then we head to the villa and the parks then for 2 weeks. I broke up from work yest for 6 weeks(i work in a school) got our cases down today. Yes we always do, mainly due to my wife's shopping spree every year. We used to take 6 cases and 4 of them were empty so that she could fill them up over the month that we spend in Florida. BA used to allow 3 cases each in Club World but reduced this to 2 cases each last year. Re prices, the full fare business classic usually £3,200 each but in their sale it drops to around £1,400 each, and in fact in 2015 we got these tickets for £800 each. Don't tell anyone (shhhhhhhhh) but I think they have a sale this August Bank holiday. The only bugbear is that they charge £90 each way for the seat selection, so it's an extra £360 for that. We always add car hire to the booking as well, and that knocks £200 roughly off the cost of buying it separately. We are over there Oct 16th to Nov 13th if you are about!

Frances Alicia hey, Straight up, we think virgin had the upper hand on this one... but only just! We don’t remember British airways having a flat bed but it did recline really far and with the foot stool, you may as well say it was a bed. Virgin had a much better airport lounge, if you fly upper, they have the upper class lounge (although we used Heathrow) You might say that ba had slightly more private seating whereas virgins seats are at an angle and a lot of people are looking straight at you, so ba is better there... Most of the ba flights to Orlando have been remodelled with their new blue mood lighting and brand new seats but virgin still have quite old seats now on their 747’s... I think the whole experience, with virgin was slightly better, but ba didn’t disappoint 😁😁😁
We have used Alamo at MCO before via Andy @ DFCH normally do all the pre registration/credit card & driving licence before leaving the UK chose car we wanted and straight to the barrier, why did you use the electronic kiosk?
hi malcom... we shouldnt have used the kiosk.. i incorrectly read somewhere that 3rd party bookings had to go via the desk or kiosk, but this is certainly not the case with DFCH.... i wont be making the same mistake next time lol.. thanks for dropping us a line :-)
