Wow! They weren't kidding about needing framers and just having a slab is not 'lite' construction. Good on y'all for putting your backs into it for the community. However, if I showed up to that. I would be that guy suddenly in charge of directing traffic on a sleepy cul-de-sac making signs and flags out of thin air. Trust me, if you allow me access to professional grade power tools... everyone would end up in the emergency room.

That was an amazing day of productivity. I thought it was going to be painting and finishing work. Bravo! Am I the only person who can't stop seeing the minions color scheme all over the construction site? I love the construction hat pose. Talking about hats just between us. Whatever happened to the leather daddy hat that was left in Georgia. Now, that hat must be filled with stories. Please share.
I think I sold that hat. There weren't that many stories attached to that hat...when I was doing anything particularly storied, I wasn't wearing it. LOL

My experience with Habitat was a little different. We did finish work. Cutting window trim, nailing it and painting. So a great experience!
