When I got to the final boss, i thought I completed the game entirely, but then that warp pipe appeared, and i had to do it again.
I started crying after....
What do you mean, Shadoo is the final boss and pretty much the last thing you do in the game. I stopped playing after beating shadoo

Yeah it took me 12 hours to complete the flopside pit 6 hours each for the 2 runs
And i recommend you to use dottie 'cuz enemies especially THOSE GODDAMN HAMMER,FIRE,BOOMERANG BROS

Why did Nintendo think it was a good idea to do this dungeon TWICE?? Still just seeing gameplay makes me want to play this all over again.
I honestly like the pit of 100 trials. Sucks they don’t have it in the new Paper Mario games.
I’m guessing shadoo is the “other monster” that wrackletail mentioned. It is most likely the pixl queen mentioned by the owner of the bar on the B1 floor.
Just beat it today. After 2 PECKING YEARS! I got a bit unlucky on the Shadoo run, where in Room 96, the Dark Megabite had the key.

Aaaaaaaaye!!!!
The one that sends you back to Flipside (A.K.A. Back Cursya) doesn't appear in any of the Pits of 100 Trials, because the pits are designed to only let you leave after every 10 rooms. Because of that, the Back Cursya doesn't have a dark version.
Actually the Back Cursya DOES have a Shadow variant. It's just never used because of the same thing you said. You're only allowed to leave every 10 rooms.
@@val3454 All the Dark Cursyas have collectible cards. You can get them at the card shops in Flipside and Flopside.

Yup. Max HP. Your max attack is 100 for Mario Luigi and Peach and 200 for Bowser.
Lord Iggy 88 you can go higher than that, there is a secret room that has another currency where you can buy hp plus and power plus, you can max it out at 999hp, but it would take ages

I was very shocked and pissed that we have to go through the same crud once more to defeat the final boss of Flopside's Pit of 100 Trials. Boy it was one hell of a time to spend. I also believe that if you beat the boss and get those cards, you can go into 3D flip of Mario infinitely. I realized that one day, the counter "block" of 3D flip did not decrease.
That's right, but you only need the Mario card to do that.

Funny joke: did the first run as a level 17. Finish as a level 22. 5 attempts on 2nd run, got to the last room twiceish, as a level 27ish. Got Shadoo to its 3rd form before game overing. FeelsBadMan.
Some Random Anime Otaku I just tried to beat this today before getting back Bowser and Peach in chapter 7, only had like 17 health and a life shroom left by the time I got to Dark Mario. I just started spamming Barry at that point in pure desperation, not knowing that using Barry on this boss is an actual strategy.
I have beaten this on my Wii U but I gave it to my sister and now I have to do this all over again
How many HP do you recommend I have before tackling this challenge? I'm at level 39, I have 110 HP, 795 coins,
my attack for Mario, Luigi and Peach is 21, while Bowser's attack is 42, and my score is 3855035. I'm currently doing the trick where you have a bunch of shell shocks and you go into world 8-3 and kill all of the minions in the first hallway, but not before grabbing the speed up flower.
Should I stop? Am I okay to tackle the challenge? Oh sorry. "Trials"?
T-Bird You have more than enough hp
T-Bird My strategy is buying 9 Fire Bursts and 9 Shroom Shakes at the Yold Town shop (where the cheapest deals are), bringing them back to Flopside and letting Dyllis cook the Fire Bursts and Shroom Shakes together to make Emergency Rations (which heal 10 HP normally, but when used in the Pit of 100 Trials heal 50 HP). Then I buy a Life Shroom just for in case I lose all my HP.
P.S. Level-ups are your best friend. Each time you level up your HP will be restored completely. Try to find ways to kill enemies that make you take the least amount of damage, because while a full inventory of Emergency Rations can last the entire Flipside Pit of 100 Trials, it has to be used sparingly for Flopside or you’ll end up running out and getting yourself killed.
P.P.S. Ignore the Amazee Dayzees whenever possible. They deal way too much damage for the amount of coins they drop. Only kill them if you’ve killed the rest of the enemies in the room and you’re still looking for the key to the next floor.
P.P.P.S. You can bring Shroom Steaks if you really need the extra 20 HP (since you have high maximum health) but if you do, expect to go broke quick because Ultra Shroom Shakes cost 300 a piece while the Fire Bursts and Shroom Shakes from Yold Town cost only 18 coins together per Emergency Ration. I recommend saving the Ultra Shroom Shakes and Shroom Steaks for Sammer’s Kingdom because Emergency Rations only heal 10 HP there like normal.
P.P.P.P.S. I bet you’re getting pretty tired of these P.S.’s, huh?

I beat flipside but it's still not showing up
Lady Rose same thing happened with me. I know this response is really late, but I experimented and found out that the crack only shows up after you’ve placed the 7th pure heart into a heart pillar. So, in a nutshell, it can only be accessed after the first time you leave the Underwhere.
@@val3454 it's supposed to be that way. I believe it's to stop low level players from getting themselves killed and frustrated, because flopside pit of 100 trials is quite notoriously more difficult than flipside

Holy fuck just BE PATIENT. You charge into damage constantly that you can avoid by waiting a few seconds for the enemy to move
