Good vid. But leave it up to Bungie to create the most difficult possible way to implement crafting. Do they not have Developers who play Warframe? This was the most roundabout way you could possibly make it and this is why people are having a hard time understanding it. So thanks for the video.

I’d say it wouldn’t be that bad if there was different ways to get Deepsights without the season pass, or atleast limited in different challenging activities. Atleast from what I know getting them in season pass is the only way.

Thanks! Clears it up a little bit but I'm still soooo confused by this ridiculous process. Am now getting "This weapon has active Deepsight Resonance that can be progressed. A Pattern cannot be extracted". Huh? I've also never had the option to select an element after leveling a red-border weapon. What a frustrating process.

No one talks about any quest line requirements or anything. I came back to the game and have no expansions and have not seen a red border weapon in probably 30 hours. Do i need an expansion or a quest done first?

What’s a good farm for neutral element or is the red border weapons the only way?
I honestly watched this video to see if I can change perks for my older weapons from season 1. Bungie too off the perks from almost all the weapons and armor, so I have to start over on creating builds. Good video though.

I know this is old. You explained almost everything. I love this video and I've learned more than I knew. However, I'd really like to know what's the purpose of leveling up the weapon. What does it do for the weapon? So far on one weapon. I have it up to lvl 60. I don't see what it does. Can you explain that aspect?
Lvl is for the better crafting perks but after 20ish it doesn’t matter. Tho momento shaders need it to be lvl30 to apply
Also i have disgarded/sold lots of legendary weapons but i havent received any of them resonant alloys

If I have a pattern for a weapon, then should I dismantle all my existing weapons of that type??? Does crafting make my existing ones obsolete??

I had the red boarder on some weapons but i applied the pattern and the red boarder went away, and it said deepsight activation is not available for this weapon, im confused
You probably figured it out by now but red boarder disappearing means it unlocked 1 of 5 blueprints. After have 5 blueprints you actually go to conclave to craft a whole new gun

Im trying to get my bxr battle rifle and i don’t see any red border on my battle rifle. It just says to complete 5 deep sight resonance to unlock its pattern. Idk where the enclave is, i dont see mars on the destinations page, i have over 1,000 kills with my bxr and i see no progress bar.
I finished the attunement for the funnelweb smg and the bxr but it isn't anywhere in the relic for crafting or re-shaping
Also get the one reward or whatever from the war table that guarantees one red weapon per week and don’t breakdown res weapons if you don’t have to. They are getting rid of all the elements next season.

OK, but the thing I wanted to know isn't in here. Do you make pattern learning progress by deconstructing the weapons? I've been told yes. All I care about is pattern progress, I'm maxed out on the rest.
The fact that the community is saying this is the best guide to follow, speaks volumes. Another load of confusing shit from D2, anyone that finds crafting/patterns easy to follow is a liar. The game remains brilliant, but nothing should be this complicated to follow.

No, when you first interact with the relic it tells you "relic" not activated and no tutorial on yt can help

To be honest, I may not be crafting much... As much as I'm loving the crafting system, I'll never not use an exotic primary with the 40% buff against minors. Outbreak is just too good to entertain other primaries right now, especially for the legend campaign.

I notice there’s every weapon category except for hand cannons. Bungie hates hand cannons
So I leveled up my weapon. “Beloved” clicked on the red shit when I leveled it up. Now I went to reshaping or shaping or whatever and it say it’s not Available. Kinda pissed.
Now I have to get lucky and grind for another day.
You'll need more than one. Beloved needs, afaik, 5 for the pattern to unlock
im currently being a glaive maniac so im trying to get my glaive fully perked up. currently i have the frame that give extra reload speed and the first two traits being reload speed increasing ones while currently im trying to get rampage in the last but i dont know about the 3rd trait
