For lining up letters - not only on a shadow die, but pretty much anywhere - I've done die cut inlay. Basically, die cut into the background (honestly works with anything, not just letters, of course) & then inlay 1 layer of die cuts. I then just add more die cuts on top, being careful to line everything up, until I have the thickness I want. Pretty much the same, except with die cut inlay rather than embossing. But I LOVE your tip with the dry embossing to help with positioning dies! I can see either working, probably depending primarily on what you're die cutting. I'll definitely have to try and remember to add that to my arsenal of skills, though. :) That would actually be the harder part - just remembering! LOL Anyway, I really like how your card came out. That color scheme is awesome. And your giggle always lifts my spirits. Thank you for sharing. Take care, & have a wonderful day! :)
Adorable card, adorable sweater, this release of winter-y stuff had me at the get-go! But, I live in Wisconsin, go figure. Your color choices are just perfect, as usually. ❄️🩷🧡💚🧶💌

Sorry I can’t knit or I would knit you a sweater. I was disappointed you didn’t do the full release video for November, but was so happy to see you at least did this gorgeous card. Love the hint of using the embossing of stacking your letters. Cool trick. I was surprised you didn’t bust out nectar for any of this card. 😊
Genius tip for aligning by embossing and using the impression for positioning! Love the color choices as well.
Super cute card Carissa. LOVE this color palette. ❤️
Oh I love this so much! The colors are beautiful 😍😍😍
