Your lessons illustrate the importance of adding more syncopation to strumming chord progressions. Extremely useful skills and nicely demonstrated! I have written many songs inspired by 60”s Classic Rock. i usually spend a lot of effort to create chord progressions. You have really helped my need to add fullness and expression to the mixture! Thanks for your lessons and your beautiful spirit!
This is great , im pretty sure I do most of this stuff but I don't know all the chord names ,these tips really fill out the acoustic playing , i always play Hey Joe when im feeling Stratty so im happy this came up and happy to subscribe
Hey Joe👍🏻 Something to try on my looper using my 5 string bass for a bass line. I just got an acoustic with preamp to play. The different combinations of finger positions for chords is something I have been looking at for a while now. Thanks for another great RUclips lesson.
Another excellent lesson! Thanks! Awhile back you did a great one on a new Mark Knopfler song, I meant to throw out a request then for Song for Sonny Liston…
Another great vid Heath! Request -- can you do a video on thumbpicks? I have about 200 hundred of them and I can't really get on with any of them! 😕 What's the trick?

Nicely! I’ve done some this for years on the d chord but never knew to extend it to other open chords. Thanks for this lesson!
Glad it was helpful!
Many thanks, your videos are always very good lessons !!
Always something new and interesting. Thanks so much
Infectious personality, perfect lessons! Why wasn't this approach used in the hum-drum ones I got years ago. Fun guy, fun material, fun to play!
Great way of teaching - thanks from Australia for the humble approach - makes it so much better.

I have exactly the same problem😢! None seems to fit right😮!
Another fun lesson Heath! Thank you. Can you do a lesson on Eric Claptons version of going down slow in the Lockdown sessions?
Like much of guitar playing, it's about style and looking cool as much as anything.
Thanks for always wanted to do something different besides strumming. What's your name?
Nice 🙌🇬🇧
What type of thumb pick are you using?
Theyre called Black Mountain Thumbpicks. Very comfortable and easy to use too.
